  • Unspoken messages are very powerful and they are going to keep you in chronic pain and with chronic symptoms if you don't address them.
What are unspoken messages? Well, I'm going to cover three common ones in this video, but to give you a clue, think of the unspoken message as the flip side of a coin.
Every action you take regarding your pain or symptom has an unspoken message behind it. Those unspoken messages can either lock in the neural circuit that causes your pain, or break it. The choice is yours.

Hello, Pelvic pain or pelvic symptoms are a common mind-body symptom. Some people realize after applying these principles to another common pain like back pain or headaches, that their pelvic symptoms "mysteriously" got better. It's likely that the symptoms now are mind-body symptoms even if they originally began as the result of injury or virus.

Would Raynaud’s Syndrome fall into a mind/body issue? I’m thinking it could be from my stress & anxiety. Red, swollen fingers & fingernails peeling and cracking a lot. Thank you for your videos. :)

Hi, Good question! Raynaud's Syndrome is a great example of how the physical body is influenced by the sympathetic/parasympathetic balance of the nervous system.
The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the "fight or flight" response, which prepares the body for stressful situations. Activation of the sympathetic nervous system causes vasoconstriction, narrowing blood vessels to redirect blood flow to vital organs during times of stress or danger. In Raynaud's syndrome, excessive sympathetic activity or heightened sensitivity to sympathetic signals can contribute to vasospasm and reduced blood flow to the extremities.
On the flip side, the parasympathetic portion of the nervous system opens/dilates blood vessels of the extremities.
No doubt stress, anxiety, and trained fight or flight responses in the brain would contribute to Raynaud symptoms. I look forward to hearing about your progress!

What i f I try to get reasonable amount of sleep / enough sleep and good sleep but I have insomnia or my head tension is so strong that sleep is impossible.
I don’t want to rely on medication because they don’t even work always… I see no hope. I want to treat myself good and get a reasonably amount of good enough sleep but if my subconscious doesn’t allow it….
It’s the fear of being betrayed by my own subconscious
I don’t know what to do. Swallow all the sedative pills there are out there. This is no life 😢😢😢😢

      Hello, Thanks for your note.
First, remember that you're not alone in this struggle. Many people grapple with similar issues, and the techniques I share here will help.
As hard as it sounds, switch gears from frustration and despair to self compassion and patience. It's easy to slip into frustration and despair, but that delays relief.
Take steps to dial down the emotional intensity regarding the tension and poor sleep. Take on a new mantra, "my brain and body will get the amount of sleep they need. Whether I sleep a little or a lot, everything is going to be ok."
If you think there are a lot of thoughts in your mind that need to get out, you have lots of options, like journaling, a counselor or therapist, a trusted friend...
Anything that increases a sense of safety and dials down fight-or-flight can be beneficial.

@@Kiki-sv8gl You may have unknowingly uncovered a belief that's keeping the insomnia from going away. Give yourself permission to take a break from worrying about what the media and the healthcare system says about the number of hours we should sleep. Be kind to yourself and remember you're doing the best you can. Always remember the body knows what to do to take care of itself. Anxiety over not getting enough sleep and that it must be bad for you is going to lock in the cycle you're trying to get out of.

@@Kiki-sv8gl Hi, I hear your frustration. If the symptoms are distressing you that much, I encourage you to seek some professional help, perhaps a counselor familiar with CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), You can definitely make progress with some local help, and any videos here will compliment the work you do locally.
