I bought the TKL about a month ago and love it. Seems a high price but it has a high quality finish and gives more space for your mouse
Craig Bowler how are you liking it so far sir? Thinking of getting one. Any issues with the key caps or switches?
Cons2911 I just got this keyboard over a week ago. Truely an amazing keyboard so far. It is great looking and incredibly thin. I got the clicky version, it is not loud at all. The click sound provides a great feedback and is pretty satisfying. And it doesn't have issue like a lot of other RGB keyboard -- light leaking out from the gap of the keys. I also find the volume wheel very useful. So far, a great purchase.
And the battery lasts for AGES.i plug mine in every 4 or 5 days and it usually still has plenty of charge left
Albert W. Are the switches comparable to MX blues? Or like Razer greens, or do they feel like the Razer Ornata
Getting the G915 TKL too! Thanks for the review, love the beauty shots. Btw does ur camera lens do not have a lens cover? haha
I love full size keyboards but have been looking at tenkeyless now that I am gaming more. The extra room for mouse movement is what is appealing to me. Great video
Very enjoyable to watch, thank you!

I got the TKL and bought a cheap wireless number pad and bring it out when ever I'm programming. Best of both worlds.
Ha, I made this same exact comment. It's really wonderful. Also respect for dog profile pic.
I would definitely recommend getting the keyboard, it really helps on desk space for anyone that's wondering! If you need a numpad, just buy a separate numpad and plug it in when you need it. Everything else is on the keyboard. I have the logitech version like the one in this video and its awesome!!
Exactly this: separate numpad for when needed. Put it in the drawer when it's not.
I have both the G915 and G915 TKL in tactile. I love them both. That said, they really should have double shot key caps and USB-C charging (I realize these things are stated by everyone). It's not the end of the world, but would have increased the value substantially.
Great video. Made me smile. I just subscribed.
More important question than keyboards, That monitor, Do you find the blooming around the mouse and text ever a real issue? Im tempted to go ultrawide and the full fald is tempting..
Thanks mate, you helped me make the decision to ditch the ten keys and go TKL
Hello PC Centric, what are your thoughts on the Azeron Gaming key pads?
If the full size 915 came without the macro keys, I would of bought that. So I ended up getting the TKL. I'm still getting used to the number pad not being there, but I'm happy with the keyboard.
You still happy with the tkl model? Iam about to decide whether I should pick tkl or fullsize
Which is the best Processor between two AMD or Intel. I want to buy gaming CPU so I am asking about these two Processors.
awesome setup champ
I bought this keyboard and it's the best keyboard i have ever uses, the buttons feeling is something special..
Call me old fashioned, but I like full sized. I have the G915 Clicky model, it’s awesome 👍
I'll buy it tomorrow love every aspect of that keyboard well except the price I think 180dls would be awesome great video
The full size one is more like full sized+ with those G keys on the side. I returned mine and got the TKL version
Can I use two different devices at the same time with either keyboards?
Can this one switch between three devices, like the full-size can?
It does look very premium, I would like to try the TKL.
This thumbnail scared me, I ordered a G815 last night lol
I have both the regular for my desk and the tkl for my tv setup in tactile and these are some of the best keyboards I have ever used. Paired with a g903 this is a great clean combo. Yes it’s pricey but when I initially got the regular I went with a 2080 super rather than a 2080ti and used the saving to pick up the keyboard and other stuff and still came out less then the 2080ti.
@@BrickBazooka I use both but the one with the number pad more. That one is on my desk. I have my work laptop too paired to the Bluetooth of the keyboard and use it for work. The number pad makes it easy for work. At night I stitch it to wireless for my gaming pc. The tkl fits perfect on a piece of wood I cut out to place on my lap along with my mouse so I can play occasionally on my tv with my other pc. If I did not need the number pad the tkl gives more space to move your mouse.
@@Blaquegold and that's comfy? I can understand playing with Controller laid back on the couch is satisfying but with a tkl and mouse mhhh. Can't see that for me. The fullsize keyboard is so big, so mouse movement is little and typing a but uncomfortable. The tkl misses of course the numblock, but I think I could learn how to avoid it, since I want to use tkl also mainly for work. Sales man, numbers, excel, but also emails and games later :D
@@BrickBazooka you will be SHOCKED on how you can have a comfy setup. I have the tkl on a 11x25 particle board that’s big enough for the keyboard at like a 30 degree angle with the mouse on a mouse pad and I play laid back all the time. At times I have my mouse pad that has a hard back beside me on the sofa as the keyboard is on the piece of particle board I had cut at Home Depot. it is equally as comfy as a controller and for me sometimes more as I am laid back. Believe it or not I get less cramps in fingers as the m&k are exactly where I want them. If a 60% version comes out today I’m getting it to even make it easier if I want the mouse on the board. I mainly play my casual games on the sofa but if I want to get serious I use my desk setup.
Hey Bud, love the video! To be honest with you, I've worked in finance for over 20+ years, and dealt alot with spreadsheets in my time. I used the numeric keypad all the time for spreadsheets. Now that I'm out of the finance world, and want to get into gaming, I'm now questioning myself if it's worth having the numeric keypad on the side. I don't mind change, but I'm still trying to figure out in my head if I can use a keyboard that doesn't have a numeric keypad on it? In my eyes, it looks odd not seeing that numeric keypad on the side. But do I really need to have the numeric keyboard? Weird I know, but I guess when I need a new keyboard, I'll try one without the numeric keypad. But I'm still not sure. LOL!!!! Thank you for the video. - Mike
What is your actual monitor model?
Thanks for the video been thinking of going smaller for a while! It’s my first foray into gaming keyboards and need to use it for both work& play. Have you got a vid on the difference between the key types you mentioned?
Love the thumbnail! Teach me plz!
I love your channel bruh
I know I'm going to get one or the other of the G915s but I still don't know which - I'm so used to having a numpad that I wonder whether I'm being weird about NOT having one possibly
@Deft Motion true but if I have no need for them then they really add to the overall footprint on the desk
Just bought the tkl thinking us intl means ANSI... It's even ANSI on the box, but to my surprise, it was ISO. I'm losing my mind, even on the site i got it from, the product page has pics with the ANSI keeb. Why don't they just say ISO and ANSI instead of the vague US Intl?
I was wondering which type to buy
What monitor is that ?
Your videos are awesome
I wanted TKL, but the keyboard that was the best choice for me wasn't TKL so i just offered it up
Which keyswitch do people recommend for this TKL? I don't game, only type. MX browns are too much travel, and hurt my wrists after too much typing. What is recommended? linear, clicky, or tactile?
I have the linear version and i like it. If you only type you should try the linear or tactile one.
I'd get a keyboard like this. I never used the extra number keys, so tenkeyless would be for me
I've got both TKL and Reg G915. Love them both for different reasons though. I'm a traditional keyboard user so I am still getting used to the TKL version. One thing's certain though, I have the best of both worlds.
SSpringSS any issues with the switches or key caps? Thinking of getting one but i heard the key caps are not easy to find
@@Cons2911 no issues so far🤞🤞. I don't know what ppl be doing but I take care of my things. Too expensive to be damaging, plus I don't eat or drink around my pc
SSpringSS i also take care of my stuff, but when gaming, I don’t notice how hard i push lol
I have a DIERYA Mechanical Gaming Keyboard 60% and I still get all my media keys as legend keys.
i cant find a uk layout g815 with linear switches on amazon:(
Does anyone know ho to set the keyboard so the Rgb lights never turn off unless you turn off the keyboard or toggle the rgb on and off ? Plz help new to pc
Can anyone confirm if the UK layout will have those small shift or not?
Im buying the G915 TKL white and im dead set, i have a full size now and i really want more space for my mouse and the numberpad isnt important enough haha
as someone who uses ctrl Z alot in my illustration works and seeing the / key next to the Z I've realize this is not the type for me, so I'll keep looking
Forgive me if I am wrong but could that just be that he has a different keyboard layout to your standard? It might be worth checking on the Logitech website to see an image of the keyboard in the different layouts. :)
My laptop has a full size, but I am working on a laptop setup and I don't know if I should go Tenkeyless or not. I don't use the keypad that much. I know that for sure haha
Honestly I would choose the smaller one if you have less space
I have used a TKL for a few years and i love it
all I want is a 60/65% usb type c kb with smth like razer optical linear sw AND wireless non bt option >_>
works on console?
Do you really want to enter IP addresses without a numeric keypad?
I have the full size g915 great keyboard I am a full sized keyboard guy always have been. In saying that haven’t tried a TKL either so not sure what I’m missing out on either.
@@joshuathefirst great keyboard man no complaints at all, good battery life wish it was usb c. Is the only thing as my new steelseries prime mouse is usb c. Other than that small gripe its great
TKL for me since I'm getting a numb pad and placing it on my left since I am left handed and uses macros
But it is compatibile with ps5?
what i noticed from this video is that gamer guys often have very similar fingers... i know that sounds weird, but the long bony fingers so beautifully shown by our lovely Marcus here is what i'm talking about 🙂
I thought i ordered Full Size keyboard xD but i didnt look at det picture on the net clearly so i got the tkl by accident xD i dont regret it tho!!
I prefer tkl keyboards so I may think of getting the g915 tkl
I can't stand full size keyboards I never used the number pad and found it a complete waste of time. My keyboards a TKL Full size is just way too big, that Logitech does look like a nice though.
The Logitech G915 TKL is such a beautiful keyboard, shame they don't make a white variant.
"to ensure a fair test, Logitech sponsored this video" oh common😂😂
i just want a company to make a full size keyboard with the number cluster and arrow keys on the leftside, why is that too much to ask for? good on LGT for making a 60% but the full size desing is flawed and needs to be addressed by a company now 😡, having to leave my mouse to use the numbers is terrible and i can't believe it has been like that for decades.
TKL FTW I use an ROG Scope TKL
TKL switched last year never regret decision, keep in mind I don’t use tkl just for gaming
While using applications like Blender, TKL is not great as the number pad is used for changing views. There are lot more stuff which ig you don't care about which can be done with the number pads like unicode special characters and stuff like that. Buying a TKL is a waste of money tbh.
I don't know what it is but after you've seen the TKL keyboards, the standard keyboards look dated and cumbersome.
Hyper X has a great TKL. I know it's not the one advertised here but just letting you all know.
Yessir (or ma’am). I have the alloy origins core. Never really used the media or macro keys, and I game a lot, + a ton of other stuff, and it was 100% worth it
@@hectatevegas1693 nice i bought the alloy elite rgb a week ago online, but it wasn't in stock so i'm still waiting😂😁
Though I do use the number pad quiet frequently, the thing that makes TKL worse than the full sized version is just the overall looks. I just like the bigger look.
your sensitivity is so high "useful when flicking" .. yeah.....
After buying a TKL keyboard, I don’t think I can ever go back to a full sized board.
More keys, more rgb.
I just think the bigger boards look better.
Personal preference though.
LG don't be shy. make a 65 version
"Less Material, Less Money" Aha What now, 50 dollars more expensive here
Recently bought the G915 full size. Upgraded from a Strix Flare. THe G915 is a beast of a keyboard. Though the Logitech software is messed up.
I just bought Razer Huntsman Tenkeyless Gaming Keyboard. I think I like it more than logitech tkl
I bought a Razer Huntsman Tournament TKL keyboard back in July and all was fun and dandy for a while... now, I keep having ghosting issues with the WASD mainly but other keys too when typing big texts. I'm thinking of changing it for something else...
@@starfuxer oh no buddy that is not good. Maybe that one keyboard has issues may be try to get replacement or something.
@@harsha1908 Unfortunately, I'm a month too late for any return/replacement from Amazon. Might check it out with Razer if they can do something for it.
@@starfuxer Razer Keyboards have around 2 years of warranty from date of purchase. Usually their keyboards are pretty good.
they cost the same so i got the bigger one it's nicer
If you play arma 3 do not get tkl. You need the enter to change first person or third view and when running you need the numpad to look around. Tkl is for girls playing cod
Help Help Help i need Help for an I7 9700k build with a 2080 super but dont know which motherboard to buy that wont cost the earth its doing my head in please help it will also have a m.2 drive and a ssd. p.s. love the content.......help.
Just bought yesterday a 60% 🤣
Micro USB in such an expensive Keyboard... Such an shame
Recent trend??
£220 for the tkl in feb 2023
always tkl is the best, then if you need numpad buy it separatelyt and even a macro pad too, still people that work with macros you can program both keyboards
I’ve always use a full-size keyboard but I’m downsizing from a house to a small condo won’t have the room for a full-size keyboard anymore
Too bad you cannot buy this. I've been looking to buy this for 3-4 weeks now, but it's constantly sold out. I asked Logitech when it's going to be available, but they don't know either.
@@charliewynn3161 I'm checking all the shops in my area. US is a bit further away from here :)
£200 is bit of a joke though
65%
TKL all day long!!!!
I went from full size (TOO BIG)
Then a 60% (TOO SMALL)
Then I tried the TKL (JUUUSSTT RIGHT)
tkl is more efficient and way better overall.
I would of 100% said bigger one, but after watching this video I’d be inclined to buy the smaller one. However as I am working from home the number pad helps and I wouldn’t give it up. But when I finish my other PC (non gaming - more than likely be after iso so I still have a pc in case I stuff it lol) I will consider buying the small one. I’m sure in 5 mins I’ll be like no I’m getting smaller one for sure
The price is what's stopping me. $250 for just the keyboard.
This is my problem as well!
For me, i just told myself that i don’t always buy a gaming keyboard im not a keyboard collector so i should buy the best and durable
Forget TKL - 60 or 65% is the way to go now. I moved to 65 from TKL and have not looked back.
Meh, I need an ansi standard version in EU
I would buy this if it was usbc
I just got this keyboard. One thing that is never mentioned in getting a TKL is that you can just buy a cheap 5-10 bucks USB/Wireless numpad. I pull the numpad down when working, then just put it away once I start gaming. It's really the best of both worlds.
100% thats what im going to do. i feel it is easier to type without that in my way. Keeps the keyboard centered. Can't wait to switch.
