I use a similar set up to make an electric sidestand for my bike. The unit I used had Bowden cables to open and close the windows. So I fitted the motor under the engine and used the cables attached to my sidestand to lower and raise it. Worked for years.
I'm so glad I dismantled mine. I have given it a lot of thought and I think this motor will be just what I need to open and close my car window. Thank you 👍

Hello! Love your videos! I have a Tesla model s drivers seat I am trying to turn into a sim rig chair. The 12v Bosch motors they use have 4 wires, it appears they have hall sensors inside. Is it possible to somehow control those motors without the vehicle? Any help to manually control or power up one of the motors to adjust it backwards. Thanks!
These motors are useful for small shop projects. I used the to drive a rotation table clap for welding. High torque , but you can not run the for extended periods of time. These are ineffective as a use for making power.

I was looking for motors (for a LONG time now) to use for multiple projects, I needed a low-geared system so it could be used on things that needed a lot power, so first I used 540 brushed motors (as Im an RC guy) & made my own gearing but they didnt have enough power & geared down they had not enough RPM, so I bought (quite expensive) 775 sized brushed motors that came with their own gearbox, still not enough power/torque, finally I found the bets solution, a "Windscreen Wiper" motor+gearbox, they are amazing! No I want something smaller so want one of these power window motor/gearbox.

I was thinking the same thing when i tripped over the cord to my router and in the attempt to save it from hitting the concrete caught it in mid air unfortunately turning it on. If youve ever wondered what juggling a router with 3/8" bit in it while its turning 25000 rpm i can show you. For the record the gloves didnt do much at all.
and guys for u to use this safely u need to put a car relay on this and a fuse . other wise it can get hot . plez brother also show people how to do that to.

U can NOT measure current like that. Motor has to Pull power through the meter so wire meter probes in series between battery and motor. Batt+ to meter - then meter + to motor + Other side of motor (-) attached to batt -
Put the shaft in a drill or drill press, turn the drill on and use a peice of emory cloth to clean the contacts. Afterwards spray with contact cleaner repeat process on negative side of the contacts.
