- Many people in Japan are seeking a refresher course in something that should come naturally - smiling. Reports say Japanese people have been signing up for Smile Training because after three long years of wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they say they forgot how to live without one. Now they’re taking classes to re-learn basic social skills like when to smile and how big to smile. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

I attended “how to open your eyes class” in Japan. I’m the only one graduated. I’m from North Africa.

That's Interesting 🤔. Me personally, I have always been very "Expressive" with My facial expressions. Sometimes to My detriment. Believe it or not, the ability to Mask your feelings & NOT expressing them on your face is much more important than 1 might realize. Since most of the World has been wearing face masks (ie COVID) & not really having to consciously "mask" the expressions on our faces when we're wearing a literal Mask 😷, it's important to be conscious & mindful now of the feelings we convey to the World & the ppl around Us.

@@cubanalienNo, I definitely did not, I couldn’t see my grandmother when she passed and she had a very sad send off with her funeral.
But unless someone you know was dying every waking moment, or you didn’t hear a single joke, see a nice sunrise, get something nice to eat, converse with family, laugh on the phone, or just smile to yourself behind the mask at your inner thoughts then I’d be shocked if you smiled a minute amount of time in 3 years.
On top of the fact the Japanese tend to wear masks regularly (nothing wrong with that) and that you could be outside when things calmed down with masks, to some how forget to smile? Come on man lol
@@Visibletoyou23to be fair, Japan doesn’t have that much of a great entertainment. They can’t really make parties at their house, or go have fun in clubs.
