Thomas Edison sounds power hungry! That’s cool about Warner and DC coming together like that. Loved Superman 1978! Was that an octopus head in the beginning?😂
Unfortunately Alex comics and the film industry simultaneously unionized in the exclusion of racial differences. 🤓Censorship was mild during the war years in regards to Saturday Matinee Serials as one can see heroes and heroines blatantly killing off bad guys. Comics and the film industry shared in questionable activities and associations while promoting themselves as morality up holders. Undoubtedly some of Edison's "innovations" may have been "borrowed" from Tesla. We the fans are getting characters we know only with alterations that have changed the fact from the books being the source material to now the films recycling the books. Delving into the root of creations is always interesting!
Love this! Didn’t realize comics and movies had similar origins but differed in the unions!
Ales 😃 Thanks for your fascinating movie and comic book connection history video!👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was really interesting to know about the history about comics and movie.
