It's funny coming back to this remix now that not only is Sephiroth is Smash, he can even cause a major glitch with Pokemon Trainer that removes battle effects for the entire match. This is its theme.

@@zanecomarmond4425 I couldn't find a soundfont for Colosseum, unfortunately. The closest thing I found was one for Gale of Darkness, but it sounded TERRIBLE.
I'll see if I can find one for Stadium, though!
@@QueenOfBlueScreens I have a Colosseum soundfont lying around somewhere if you're still interested in making an arrangement. I'm pretty sure the instruments are taken directly from the game, so the sound quality is pretty much the same as in the Colosseum soundtrack ^^

Pokémon has a guest appearance, that is super hidden. You have to level up all your Pokémon to Level 100 to even stand a chance. Its against Sephiroth, and no Sephiroth ain't a trainer, you are actually fighting Sephiroth. Sephiroth has more than 4 moves and can one shot most of your Pokémon, and takes up to 10 minutes to beat. It has to be a perfect game to beat him. How cool would that be.
It would have to be a raid battle to emulate Final Fantasy style battling. He can gigantamax at half health i to his true form and his GMax move is Supernova

Quite a faithful recreation! Keeping the vocals even though they aren't part of the soundfont was a good idea as well. Too many people just use choir 'ooo' and 'ahh' sounds and it loses it's effect.

Kangaskhan or Cubone to fulfill the mother obsession, Scyther or Kabutops for the blades, Gengar (ghost for the reunion stuff, poison for the Geostigma), Primeape (will not stop stalking its prey no matter what *coughcloudcough*) and probably a couple legendary/pseudo legendaries (Tyrannitar, Rayquaza, Mewtwo for the hatred of humanity and its experimentations on him,)

Nah, they couldn't be more different. But now that you mention it, the violins DO sound kinda similar to FF7's!
the Pokemon Soundfonts in general are in a pretty damn similar style as FF soundfonts.

What program do you use for your soundfont covers? I love the idea of doing stuff like this and I DO have the soundfont files I want to mess with, but there's so many different sound programs that I'm a bit confused and I'm hoping to learn a little more.
i use LMMS! i'd use a different program, but i don't have the money to buy better programs lol

I doubt it. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the GBA to give a concrete answer, but I'm assuming the answer is "no." Unless someone's able to pull off some sort of insane magic that'd allow the GBA to play the vocals without taking up too many resources.

@@ThanatosZero i've seen both of these before, actually! and as much as i'd love to believe it's possible to do on an actual SNES (or at least a _single_ SNES), it's not. here's what Mathew Valente, the guy who did the SNES version, said:
"This remix I made that you're hearing is basically a what-if scenario where if you reserved 2 SPC700's for the 16 channels of audio, and then applied one SPC700 per vocal sample lol.
In other words, yeah this song is impossible on a vanilla SNES and was made with Impulse Tracker and applied an SNES echo to it (Using Plogue's chipcrusher 2 VST), and it took liberties, but if the SNES had 16 channels, no memory limits, but kept the FF6 samples..and still output at 32KHz, this is how it would sound."
so i guess it's _theoretically_ possible to do with several SNESes, but not on a single SNES.
kinda funny that a single NES is perfectly capable of doing the vocals, but you'd need several SNESes to achieve the same effect, huh?
