    Honestly, I love the cracks on the mass market books! By the time you finish the book, it 100% looks like something that has been read.. and that just has its charm.

      Well that's true. I have so many second hand mass markets and it seems like they travelled along with so many readers. There're n number of cracks in my eye of the world edition. But still sometimes I feel bad in cracking a new mass market 🙈

    Aaargghhh I love the hardbacks but they are just sooo costly😢 but tbh I like the UK covers more than the US ones as it's very minimalistic and is very athletically pleasing on the shelf. Also more easily available compared to the hardcovers. I have ordered the whole gollancz set for my collection recently and can't wait for them to arrive. Definitely keeping my eyes open for deals on the harcovers (well one can never have enuf editions of their fav books🙈).
    PS: That oathbringer hardcover is 😍😍😍😍 absolutely breath-taking.

    Do the hardcover and the Tor trade paperback use recycled paper? I have Mistborn from Gollancz and the paper looks and smells like the morning paper. Also do you know if the trade paperback has the "ears"? (Don't know if the term is correct in english)

      @divyamkharey  Před 3 lety +2

      I'm not too sure about recycled paper. I too have the same editions of Mistborn. I got that box set but the quality was different for each individual book. I think one had a darker shade and felt like recycled paper.
      Nope I don't think trade paperbacks had those. Though I'm not having one but I confirmed it with one of my friends who got Rhythm of War Gollancz Trade Paperback. I'm not aware of the correct term as well😂

      Well amazon recently had all the three Hardcovers in prime. Add all of them in wishlist, and then check on them on a regular basis. That's the best approach. I think oathbringer was available yesterday. Do check that once. Book 2 is the one which hardly comes in stock but it was there in the stock at the start of this year. Other than amazon, you can check bookswagon. They have those hardcovers but then again problem of returns may occur. Like some books aren't returnable or maybe not in stock.
