Honestly, I love the cracks on the mass market books! By the time you finish the book, it 100% looks like something that has been read.. and that just has its charm.
Well that's true. I have so many second hand mass markets and it seems like they travelled along with so many readers. There're n number of cracks in my eye of the world edition. But still sometimes I feel bad in cracking a new mass market 🙈
Ikr!
It's like a book resonating its soul and character 😍
Aaargghhh I love the hardbacks but they are just sooo costly😢 but tbh I like the UK covers more than the US ones as it's very minimalistic and is very athletically pleasing on the shelf. Also more easily available compared to the hardcovers. I have ordered the whole gollancz set for my collection recently and can't wait for them to arrive. Definitely keeping my eyes open for deals on the harcovers (well one can never have enuf editions of their fav books🙈).
PS: That oathbringer hardcover is 😍😍😍😍 absolutely breath-taking.
Yup, they're super costly🥺 UK one's are amazing together and matches with his every other book.
Whoah😍 can't wait for you to receive that set. Haha true that😂 can't have enough editions.✌️
From where did you order the whole collection in once? It's not available on Amazon, is it?
this video is so helpful, thank you so much!
I'm glad it was helpful. You're welcome. Thanks for watching 🙂
This video was really helpful. Thank you!!!
You're a hero dude!! Ive been wanting to buy the American edition and the UK editions are split but I was worried that they would be way too huge 😶
Nice to see the versions. Going for the white edition. Thx for showing them.
That's amazing. I just love those editions. Happy reading and thanks for watching.
Verry helpful guide.I have the UK editions and I love them alot ! 😁
Thanks😊 that's great!!
Really Helpful ! Thanks for sharing !!
Glad it helped. You're welcome. 😄
Great video thanks for this! Have you had a look at the uk hardcovers?
Thanks so much for the review! Super helpful =]
Glad it was helpful!
Kinda want the paperbacks because I love the front covers. But I also wanted to go deep into the world of cosmere so I think the hardcovers will be good for that since it consists of the maps and also the artworks.
Wait , the paperback's and hardcover's contents are different , does paperbacks don't have the maps and illustrations just as hardcover one??
Fyi, the small ones of the us version respond very well to breaking in the spine. Go look up the method on youtube, and you'll avoid the cracks. You just have to muster up the patience to keep folding through 1200+ pages
Do the hardcover and the Tor trade paperback use recycled paper? I have Mistborn from Gollancz and the paper looks and smells like the morning paper. Also do you know if the trade paperback has the "ears"? (Don't know if the term is correct in english)
Thank you for the video, great work and information!
I'm not too sure about recycled paper. I too have the same editions of Mistborn. I got that box set but the quality was different for each individual book. I think one had a darker shade and felt like recycled paper.
Nope I don't think trade paperbacks had those. Though I'm not having one but I confirmed it with one of my friends who got Rhythm of War Gollancz Trade Paperback. I'm not aware of the correct term as well😂
You're welcome. Thank you so much for watching 😊
This was helpful bro
I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching 😄
Thankyou for this ❤️
You're welcome. Thank you so much for watching😊
You look like such a nerd but in a good way. Like a guy I would love to chill and talk about books with
Do the white coloured paperbacks have illustrations...and if yes...are they black and white
Whats the font size of the MMB? If you are not sure could u give an estimate?
Does mistborn 10th anniversary hardcover have color illustration like tor first edition hardcover?
How much did u pay for the Hardcover edition of othbringer
Yeah, I think I will go with the UK edition.
That's great. Happy Reading 😄✌️
is there any website you know which ships to pakistan for as cheap as possible? because here these book(even small mass markets) cost like 3k+ which is too much expensive for us.
How is the font sizing on the Gollanz edition? I got the mass market one and the fonts are painfully small. Is Gollanz an improvement?
Alas, their hardcovers have tiny print (and horrible paper quality)
Fonts are big.
Awesome bro 😎
Thanks a lot😄
What do the books look like on the inside? Would I be correct in assuming that with the exception of the hardcover they all have the same black and white illustrations?
Even Hardcover have those black and white illustrations similar to those other ones. But there are four colored illustrations in the hardcover, that's the only difference. Two of those at the back and two at the front, else everything's same.
@@divyamkharey thank you!
So in the gollancz are the two books the exact same as the one regular edition book, or are they different? I want to get Stormlight in smaller versions but want to make sure it’s the same thing.
If someone could just verify that they are the same book that would be great
Yes it is the same book. Even the English used has remained American English and hasn't been switched to British English which I find a little annoying but yeah it's the same. UK cosmere books look great on a shelf and are all worth getting
Bro I had a thought of which series is better- The Witcher saga or The Stormlight Archive. Could you guide me which one should I buy first?
Undoubtedly stormlight archive
good video mate
Thanks✌️
Do the White paperback editions have maps/illustrations inside them?
Yes
@@divyamkharey Thank you for replying so soon! I had found a good deal for them on amazon today, which was why I was looking up videos on youtube. So i guess I'll go ahead and buy them now. Thanks for making this video, and thank you for your help! 😁
Where you get the book like any site anything can you provide it
Bhai nice vid I just finished book 1 golancz tor
I want better maps
So looking for which edition to get for book 2 to enhance reading experience
Only hardcovers and trade paperbacks, having better maps than golancz edition.
I still have yet to read sanderson's work, but i know there's a lot of people who really love the books
You should definitely try some of his books😄✌️
I'm ok with every version if it's Sanderson!!!
Hah😂 true that. Love all of them.
Any idea where we can find Rythm of War mass market paperback?
Not yet, they'll launch it in a while. Whenever they stop trade paperbacks, there'll be mass markets and two new Gollancz editions in the market. Like they did for the first three books.
Thanks so much for this video! I really want to read Sanderson's books. I really hate the type of mass markets where the spines crack so easily. I want to get paperback editions that are flexible/floppy, the kind that stay open on their own. I wish I could get the hardcovers but they are so expensive :'( Which editions of warbreaker, mistborn and the stormlight archive are the flexible kind of paperbacks? Thanks if anyone can help!! :D
You're most welcome and thanks for watching. I don't like breaking new spines but yes reading second hand mass markets (with cracks) are a delight. Yes, paperbacks are pretty flexible. Like still intact after one read and looks just amazing. Go ahead with Gollancz paperbacks, they're available at a decent price and are of decent quality. I own majority of Sanderson books in Gollancz editions.
Yes, hardcovers are expensive. But I'll still spend that much for stormlight. It's just amazing ♥️
@@divyamkharey thank you so much! I will try the Gollanzc editions 😄
No paperbacks or HardCover as I have it on Kindle.
The uk split edition is the absolute best looking one, but it takes a year or so after release for them to come out…
Yes that's true. You can get trade paperback if need to read just after release. As normal paperbacks are released pretty late.
how long do mass market paperbacks last? I mean how many years?
They'll last as long as you can think. I own a few editions and they are years old. But again those spines will get worse after each read.
I find them better than normal paperback. They last longer and none of my books’ spine is broken!
Where can we buy hard covers other than Amazon? Amazon only has WOK hardcover
Well amazon recently had all the three Hardcovers in prime. Add all of them in wishlist, and then check on them on a regular basis. That's the best approach. I think oathbringer was available yesterday. Do check that once. Book 2 is the one which hardly comes in stock but it was there in the stock at the start of this year. Other than amazon, you can check bookswagon. They have those hardcovers but then again problem of returns may occur. Like some books aren't returnable or maybe not in stock.
@@divyamkharey how much did it cost you? Please tell
hahaha I am focused on the Priory of the Orange Tree
Do the Gollancz paperbacks have the artwork?
Yes, mass markets, paperbacks and hardcovers - all having b&w illustrations/artwork.
@@divyamkharey Oh, that's great. I've been meaning to get into this series for a while now. Thanks for replying!
@@ultimatedesbear4271 amazing!! happy reading 😊
Where to get trade paperbacks....I didn’t see this format in Amazon India
Actually there's no specific head for trade paperback. Like you'll find them under normal paperback head and just need to check for book dimensions down below in specifications. As of now, TOR trade paperback for WoR is available for 1K something on amazon and Orion trade paperback is available for RoW on the same.
Would u plz give me link ? That will be so generous of you
Oh man. You got Faithful and the Fallen? It's been unavailable for so long in Amazon. Even the first law trilogy 🤦
I just got lucky. I found all four of them together on amazon.
@@divyamkharey lucky mate. First law is available now... But it's way too costly 🤦
now only wrath is available others are too much costly
@@sadhanabajare yes. Even his new book "Shadow of the Gods" is too costly
I get fascinated by this fact everytime i see them on his shelves
Where did you bought the hardcover edition?
It's from amazon
Its a shame that MMB breaks so easily. Its cover art is way better than the Gollancz edition
there is also a US version of the paperback edition with the same picture as MMB and hardcovers, but with super bendable spine and in only 1 book wich is the best of both words IMO
p.o.v the spine is broken, also my spine is broken. the way you open/abused the book. lol
Haha😅
Have u read rhythm of war...
Not yet. I'm currently reading Oathbringer. Will be reading RoW after that. I'm yet to order it as well🙈
I hv all the Sanderson books
Whoah😍 amazing.
Do you have Rithmatist
Do you have white sand if then from where?
