Just a small corrections: Higher level rolls unlock after generating a specific number of Add-On Skills. It has nothing to do with the stats you're rolling! Level 2 unlocks after generating 10 Add-On Skills and Level 3 unlocks after generating 20 Add-On Skills. You don't have to perform Level 2 rolls to unlock Level 3 though! Just roll Level 1 until you unlock the Level 3 option!!

But if you do a lvl 3 roll your main-stat will be locked to rank 10 and even if you do only lvl 1 rolls afterwards you will still get a minimum result of rank 10 for you main-stat. I don't feel like lvl 3 rolls have a better chance to generate higher rank skills than lvl 1 rolls though... So you probably can just do lvl 1 rolls all the time if all you care for is the main-stat!
@@teeg7078 pure luck. In theory you could roll rank 20 for you main-stat with your first ever roll. There is no fixed number of rolls you have to do in order to reach max rank with your main-stat. It's all chance. I would guess I rolled between 80 or 90 times in total for Braver Add-On skills (total rolls, lvl 1, 2 and 3 in sum) and so far I managed to raise my main-stat to rank 19. Than I stopped, because I realized what a massive Meseta sink this mechanics is... But of course, that is purely from observation! There may very well be a hidden pity system that shifts probability towards higher results the more rolls you do. But if that's the case I haven't reached that point yet...

That's basically what I do for all the classes I'm not actively playing. Personally, I really lowered my expectations for Add-On Skills. Right now all I'm trying is, to get two useful (so neither the "Resistance Up" nor "upon Joining Trial" stat) rank 10 sub-stats. And should the main-stat increase even better (but that's optional).
Add-on skills are insane. As a Bouncer main, having Natural PP recovery when running is so useful when moving from one combat zone to another. Also a Fighter that can jump higher with critical potency is also big!

You're going to want to farm hunter alot if you're trying to work on braver katana cuz getting to level 20 melee potency feels like rng hell so far it's not easy lol
So every character gets a stat benefit from every other class (once unlocked), even though they have nothing to do with them? Crazy. Seems like significant power creep.
To explain I don't think 1-20 is equal chance I think they have it set to like 1 is 10%, 2 is 7%... 20 is .01% chance (as after 500 rolls I've only rolled 20 once, these numbers not accurate, but conveys the idea). On top of this what I think the higher cost rolls do either 1 of 2 things. 1 they can't roll high numbers and are locked at +16 (I haven't rolled anything above 16 with a level 3 roll) 2 or they use the same rolling system for both and all the other is an additional if statement that says if num < x then num = x option 2 is more likely imo since its easier to implement as like I said it only take a simple if statement to add, but x10's the price of a roll causing a bigger mesta sink.
I think I am stupid, but I am so confused and dont really understand after rewatching several times. I guess I'll just focus on leveling my main first. Any tips I should keep in mind while I do so? Thanks for the video

New player here. Complete noon playing for about 4 days, how do I level up skills? Like photon arts, weapon skills, techniques, etc, cause they are all level 1, despite me being lvl 40.
Right now there's no way of leveling your weapon skills, photon arts, techniques. Everything is level 1 for the time being of this comment so your perfectly fine!
You got lucky, my alliance mate got 18 on first roll while I spent 30+ rolls at lv 3 options to get it, that's 1.5m down the drain, wish I use lv 1 option to get lv 18 first.
Thank you again for for the video Keroppi! My only problem with this system is it punishes players who don’t want to play the other classes. I would rather see a system where the player can choose to be either a jack of all trades or a specialist in one or two classes and still get good buffs to their abilities. Either path could still be good and viable, but they also could have their cons. Instead, SEGA is pushing another meta where you MUST play all the classes to get enough power to keep up with whatever group you are in. It’s especially annoying for those who don’t like playing the other classes than the one they chose and continue to stick with.
I'm pretty sure later down the line (3-6 months later) we will get some exchange system. (IE: Exchange 2 Braver Cubes into 1 Hunter Cube etc). SEGA tends to cater to the casual player but at a much later date.
@@keroppi thing is man, that's not the problem, as apparently you get ALL main buffs? from each Class on every Class on that character, or maybe even every character on that Ship? So, where the problem is at, is it gives Purists/Elitists an excuse to exclude/kick players who DON'T have all the buffs + BiS random extra bonuses/buffs & just generally makes it harder to max your stat totals besides.... that is what they meant, more or less
There is no need to get all classes to level 60/play all classes. We're going to be able to farm other class cubes from the cannon quest triggers when they drop.
Why would anyone do this do damage especially when they have capped the damaged so we can’t deal over a certain amount. That is useless farming!!!!!!!! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE MAN

With all these crit rate up and hp bonuses there is no need for dread keeper anymore.
I also main the Braver class. I love it.

Make sure you switch to each class to activate the title completion for getting them to that level in order to receive the reward.
