Johnny, what mouthpiece do you prefer for rock-n-roll sax growling? Is there any difference in mouthpieces?

Big difference in mp's in general playing...for growling not so much. A small opening will make it much more difficult though so go as opened as you can handle. This is true for getting a big tone as well.

i have a sax but the keys are different than the trumpet cus you guys have 123 while the sax has 17 keys and all of them have to be pressed rapidly which sometimes leads to a cramp
