I was "recruited" into the DM fandom back in 1984, as a 10-year-old. My older bro was in his room playing some really synth-heavy music that he borrowed from the neighbor down the street. I asked about it, and he played "People are People"and "Everything Counts " for me. Forty years later, I've seen the band twice: once in San Diego and once at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Depeche Mode was the soundtrack of my high school years. Most of the long-term friendships I have with people, were formed because of a mutual love of the band. We listen to most of their songs with a similar reverence to the kind that religious people have for worship music and hymns. I mourned the recent death of Andy Fletcher like I would the passing of a family member. Long live the music of Depeche Mode.
This whole album is pure vocal perfection. Dave and Martins voices complement each other unlike past albums. There’s a deeper connection between each other that is so apparent in this album and on stage. Their voices are euphoric!

To me more like a husband who strayed or left, now at a crossroads though yes I get what you are saying.
The mighty Depeche Mode never stopped impressing us for 44 years!!
Depeche mode saves my life for so many times with their songs..... They keep me strong for so many times...... I want to thanks theim❤❤❤
I’ve seen them 5 times in concert. They get better as time marches on.
I simply adore Depeche Mode! ❤
2023 has been the toughest year of my life and I'm not sure if Memento Mori has been breaking my heart or healing it.
2024 will be better🎉
Hugs🤗 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Believe that it is healing it ❤
Same here…Depeche Mode somehow highlighted or cured our pain. Let’s hope 2024 or wounds can heal 🙏🏽
Hang in there, you’re never alone ❤
That's excellent
How it is possible to write after 40 years another top song like this? Amazing.
Oh man this is the best I've heard from them in years..! Depeche are true icons.
This whole album is pure vocal perfection. Dave and Martins voices complement each other unlike past albums. There’s a deeper connection between each other that is so apparent in this album and on stage. Their voices are euphoric!
Best single from Memento Mori
We can't stop waves but we can learn to surf. Universal Friendship. Love from Bordeaux. France.
My favorite song from this album!
