La Nivola e il Santo Chiodo

Ceremony in the Duomo in Milan where the Archbishop rides in a cloud (Nivola in Milanese dialect) to retrieve a relic purported to be from the cross of Christ from the cathedral ceiling. The nail is in the shape of a horse bridle since the Roman Emperor Constantine apparently decided to melt the original nail. Quite a spectacular show
