Like all narcissistic abusers do, he was triangulating them. He probably told Cassie all kinds of lies about Kim. I was in a relationship with someone like that, only they didn’t have the money, power, or influence Diddy had.
This guy made me believe a lot of bad things about his ex. I never did anything to her, but i still felt bad for just believing him when I realized the truth. I was acquaintances with her before this, but not close.
When my ex started abusing me, I knew that everything he said about his ex probably wasn’t true because he was then saying similar things about me. I felt bad enough for just believing him that I called her and apologized to her. I didn’t even do anything to her, but i still told her that I believed him before and that I was sorry for that. She ended up helping me move when his abuse got too bad. I was in my 30’s then. I can’t imagine how much more he would have been able to mess with my head if I was 19 and in that super competitive business. Both of these women are victims.

I completely believe this. Many things can be true at once, and we always say there is no such thing as perfect victim. It’s very possible that Cassie could have been happy about it in the beginning. Women who say they don’t believe in colourism are lying, everyone knows their powers in this world.
