Mine had a bit of plastic rattling around that I didn't want messing up the air pump, taking the cover off took like 30 seconds and some toothpicks after watching the video, really helped a lot.

Glad it helped you. Mine certainly didn't take 30 seconds to get into and took a lot of effort to make sure the locking tabs didn't get broken

Think this might be due to the danger that Lithium Ion batteries can pose.
