Dont understand the purpose of these. Why use these if you can use a proper bit holder, which does the same thing and more.

Well for very specific uses this is handy I’m gonna buy one tomorrow after work, as an electrician running tons of pipe, I have a reaming bit holder for my impact which isn’t magnetic, I find that when self tapping supports or going to hard on the trigger and loosening screws too much to where they fall out of connectors, having the magnetic hold is something you wouldn’t appreciate till you have don’t have it and then get it

Would this be better than the holder with a guide or "sleeve"? They almost do the same purpose.
