    Flip your locking bars over so that the long part of the bar is tucked up against the bed cover. Looks like the front drivers side is correct, all the others need to be spun 180 degrees. You get a lot more clearance inside.

    I think the HD is probably overkill for a Gladiator, Ranger, Colorado. Probably for most people with 150s or 1500s. But I love mine and the build quality is fantastic

    I am a little late to the game but I enjoyed the video. I also love my DB truck cover. I noticed in the video that you have the latching rods installed upside down. The rod should run parallel to the cover and angle down to the bed rail at the outer edges.

    My concern would be if I needed the box for larger items. I think it would be awkward to have to remove and reinstall it.
    Other than that, it is a bullet proof cover.

    • @HaulYT
      @HaulYT  Před 3 lety

      @SKAT PK it is really easy to pull the front and back panels out of the hinges and lift off. The middle section being the anchor is a bit more difficult but I agree with your concern. Larger items are def more difficult to accommodate.

    What bike rack system is that? I’ve been looking for a solution that doesn’t entail me drilling holes in my Diamondback. Also, would the ATV rails interfere with that system?

    • @HaulYT
      @HaulYT  Před 3 lety +1

      I was having the same issue. It isn't actually a bike rack it is a Voodoo Fabrication crossbar with a bike fork holder bolted to it. I don't know a lot about how far over the ATV rails come but you can slide the Voodoo Crossbar along the bed so I think something could be worked out.

    • @HaulYT
      @HaulYT  Před 3 lety +2

      It states that the payload for the Gladiator is 1700 lbs which is the highest in the midsize truck lineup. I get your joke though and trust me I hear it all the time from my fellow truck owners with the beefy v8's or larger towing abilities.
