- Former Philadelphia police officer Mark dial is back behind bars after a judge decided to revoked his bail. Dial, a five-year veteran of the force was charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and related offenses after 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry was shot and killed inside his vehicle last month. The former officer claims Irizarry had a gun, and is claiming self defense. Prosecutors in the case are pushing for a 1st degree murder child in the shooting.

Police officers that are found guilty in court are always given a deal of a life time compared to what a citizen would get for the exact same crime
And there lies a big part of the problem. Body cams have helped us convict them. Now it's time to truly hold them accountable with real sentences...

Well the good things about the body cameras, is that when officers lie, the cameras catch it. Now accountability for the cops is quite another thing, even though the proof is there. And sentencing of cops as compared to a regular citizen is another big issue.
I never thought I'd be saying this but it's time to end the immunity clause for police. So many instances now within the last few years .edit::; it's pretty sad when somebody who is trained in law enforcement does not understand the Constitution 1st and 4th amendment rights explicitly. Many many cases now are being brought up in court and thank God for the body cameras that can bring Justice to the people that were battered and jailed by these cops. At the same time you've got good cops doing exactly what they should in and out of control City any Democrats City.

In this case you can definitely see that the officer is at fault. We do have to be careful how we talk though, because there are many officers that are doing their job and keeping our cities safe and we can't attack all of them for this idiots actions

The officer did walk, the judge dismissed the case about four hours ago, the judge said the prosecutor did not have enough evidence for first degree murder.

Why was the cop contacting this man?
I really wish we could get this much justice for the two elderly men who were dragged from their cars in two separate incidents by two separate youths.
The two elderly men were driving through Philadelphia on two separate days and they both stopped at red lights and both were dragged from their vehicles for no reason whatsoever and did not say anything or do anything and they were beaten and shot and the youths were laughing and screaming and they both took the elderly men's cars and Joy rode around in them after savagely beating and murdering them.
In both cases the youths got probation for unprovoked first-degree murder and carjacking and robbery
And just to add icing to the cake as the youths came out from the courthouse in both cases and the reporters asked them for comment they screamed horrible things at the reporters and then brutally beat the reporters and the cameraman
This was all live on television and they were not charged for beating the reporters or the cameramen immediately following the case they had for the murder and robbery and carjacking and getting probation they had police standing there watching them beat the reporter and cameraman bloody and did nothing.
I just wish we could get equal justice when one of the youths commit crimes.
I also would have liked to see the 3,000 domestic terrorists that assaulted the police and burn the police cars and looted and burned most of the city and they were all released all charges dropped and I would have liked to see some equal justice on that

I think if you just see a 90 year old man in a car stop at a red light your first thoughts shouldn't not be I am going to drag him out of his car, beat him unconscious, rob him, shoot him , and steal his car.

who ever this prosecutor or lawyer is, clearly hates cops and doesn't understand physics. how can the gun get to the driver side of the vehicle before the officer did? the officer is holding the gun. also within 10 seconds of walking up to a vehicle is more than enough time to be shot by someone. there are plenty of incidents where the officer walks up to the door and is shot before they can say anything or see anything. not defending the officer for his actions but it's very clear this person should not be in a courtroom being as uneducated as she is. she's also wearing her heart on her sleeve and leading her decision making with her emotions instead of being objective.
