I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Kohen Trevor Instablaster :)
@Nico Xzavier thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Nico Xzavier It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out!
What helped me learn isolations was breaking apart the 3 beat weave. As a beginner, the 3 beat weave is usually our happy place, in the sense it is one of the first moves we learn and feel comfortable performing. My dominant direction is counter clockwise, so when performing the forwards 3 beat weave and the poi were on my right side I would pop my right hand up and my left hand down, let them isolate one time, then fall back into the 3 beat weave. Eventually I worked up the reps, going from 1-2-3 and so on, continuing to fall back into the 3 beat weave when things felt out of control and find that split-same feeling again. After lots of practice I am now able to perform forwards and reverse isolations in my dominant direction. Now for the other 2 quadrants!!

Holy crap. I did this by accident, experimenting in the park not long ago and it's been SO helpful. I didn't know it was a common practice.
I just got taught this way! It takes the mind off what you need to do, and just kind of let's you flow into it!
Yo thank u this just helped me out a lot!
How do you pin a comment on CZcams? Lolz
All the things ill never be, all the things ill never see, all there is that's left for me, is here in this eternity of isolation isolation, isolation, Isolation
Isolate!!!
Thanks so much Drex, I’ve been trying to get isolations for a while and progress has been slow. These drills will definitely help, and it’s good to know these really do just take time and effort.
I found the tape visual cue very helpful when learning. Also want to throw it back to your PAST isolation video where you went through 6 planes of practice. You do the 4 wall planes here, but I found the practice in forward / reverse buzz saw a major boost too. Love all your content, thanks for helping poi tricks be more accessible
Isolate! Thanks for the new tips... Can't wait to try then out. Very deliberate practice, well spoken!
Thank you to you, and other creators similar who aren't afraid to be HONEST about the fact that getting this sh*t takes WORK. it takes time, effort, patience, practice.. work.
This is truly awesome. Felt like I was stumbling in the dark trying to learn these. Thank you for the light!
Isolate! 🔥 Thank you for your videos Drex!
Your awesome dude. Thanks for the free content
Thank you! I’ve been so sloppy for so long when isolating, this helped, especially the tape one
Isolate! Ive been practicing for almost 5 days and its gotten to feel natural in each hand in all 4 directions, now i need to work with both hands same time and split time 😅 thanks for the video! Helped immensely!
The Alien John tip is amazing! It was the final piece of the puzzle that I needed. Thank You!!!
Isolate. Definitely a great video with a lot of helpful information to practice getting this move down and solid to incorporate it into my spinning. Now on to months of practice and patience lol.
this video hits close to home, iso have me frustrated but i'm going to be giving all these tips a try.
I'm old Greg!! Cool exercise man, I got the feel of it before you even started the next drill n my right hand can isolate based on the Greg. Thanks.
I saw a guy doing a isolation weave at the festival this weekend n I have to learn it. He said I should start by moving my arm like it's stirring a big pot soup then try to do that same movement vertically. Idk I feel much closer to learning that trick now.
Good tips !
Thank you many times 🙏
Isolate! Thanks for the tips!
I am definitely going to rewatch this and work on my isolations. I am hoping I can nail the isolations compared to hooping I can't do isolations bc I don't have engough muscle to do it. I want to learn how to do isopop but first I have to learn isolations first.
Isolate.. and yeah, this is gonna take a while :) Thanks for the heads-up.
Stopped playing with poi 10 years ago, after 5 years (when I had kids). Never managed isoloations. Now my children want to learn :-) Wish I'd had this resource back then in Spittalfields Market, London......
K I just wanted to suggest that if anyone is having trouble with this, it helped me to think about the way a steam engine's wheels move. Your arm has to be the straight part of the wheel. It kind of moves in like a syncopated oval. Also, you have to kind of toss the poi up and and then pull it as opposed to spinning it. You wanna give the poi just enough momentum to start to move up and over, and then the rest of the motion comes from pulling on the poi in a sort of horizontal tug. Hope someone finds this helpful!
This allowed me to understand the motion in just a day of practice! Thank you!
Really great video😍short but intense can you do this same kind of video for flowers and how to turn with them?
太感謝你的 isolation教學建議,我一直苦惱要如何教學這招,謝謝你。
Isolate. Been trying isolations occasionally for a few weeks with no success, 2 mins trying "the greg" and I feel I have taken a big step forward getting that equilibrium right.
Just went to check out your website and realized we have the same name🤘 also I can’t seem to get get wall plane isos and I would love tips
Greeeg ! Thx
isolate i will try it :)
Holy shit, these are genius. Isolate.
isolate!
Is there a way to alter the first tip so women can do it?
0:18 is when you finally make it work
Was trying to do isolations with these light led poi. Couldn't do it for the life of me, at least not with both hands at the same time. Got my covers for heavier fire poi... did it almost immediately. Well, not opposite direction split time, nor on the center plane. But I'm a lot closer now.
Heavier heads can definitely help! As can longer tethers.
@@DrexFactor longer tethers??? My tethers are crazy short and I can't stop smacking myself in the tits. How exactly do longer tethers help?
I want to learn eyesolation sir. .
isolate!!!
isolation !
Can you do isolations with stick poi or only ball?
It's trickier with sticks because of the way the weight gets distributed, but not impossible. Just takes a bit more work to get it right!
I started by holding them all together and moving around
Isolate I used to do this in my teens had a head injury in my twenties now that I'm Midway through my 30s picking the shitt back up again
Isolaaaaate!
Is isolation easier to learn with a heavier poi??? I cant seem to learn it with a light one.
Yes! A heavier head can help. Lighter poi are incredibly hard to isolate in general.
When I upgraded from my super light beginner set to my current set, a whole bunch of tricks I'd been struggling with just clicked into place. Upgrading is definitely worth the money if you're going to stick with the hobby :)
Isolate 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Uuuf Veri dificult... thanks
My pleasure!
Isolate
So now I have isolated by accident.... What???? Yes with my spin flags... Every now and then it just happens and I hang on to it for a few seconds but not with my contact Poi ???? How does that make any sence 😆 but that's whats happening now alot
Isolate!!!
isolate :)
#isolate
Guess what... Imma do this for 2 weeks! 😁😁 Yeah, that short, I think I may know how to do this in 15 mins. Still - practice makes perfect.
yea some tricks are easy for some people and incredibly difficult for others, for example i learnt reel turns in about 2 minutes while drex himself struggled with it a lot when he first learnt how to spin
Isolate!
Haha, "WAAYYYY BACK IN '08"
Yikes, scary to think thats almost over a decade ago, lol. That just doesnt sound like a long time ago :)

Every journey begins with a single step! Take video every week as you work on it and review your progress after a month. I guarantee you'll be surprised by how far you've come! :)
