It took us 7 months to find the perfect home! Saw it the first day it was listed, put an offer on it and it was accepted over the other 3 offers the same day. It’s crazy how fast the houses go these days!!

VA loans are so easy. We even rolled our closing costs into ours so we didn’t bring any money to the table. Ours was a little different bc my husband had already did 20 years and was retired when we got ours so all we had to prove was income verification for his retirement and VA pension. From the time we started looking to the time we closed was 2 weeks.
Amber Kloosterman wow that’s so fast that’s awesome!! They had already rolled as much of our closing costs into our loan and there was still some left over that’s why we had to pay part of them.
Congratulations! We also used the VA loan to buy at our 2nd duty station. My husband is now officially out of the Air Force after 6 years in and going to school full time while doing Air Force ROTC, so in 3 years we’re hoping to get right back in just this time as an Officer. Enjoy being closer to family!
