Quick math with Brodie Smith: "We'll start at 5', then each basket on an 18 hole course will increase 1', the last basket will be about 30' in the air." 5+18=23.

Paige Pierce stopped to pet my dog during the final round of the 2018 Waco Annual Charity Open. She then went on to win the tournament. I like to believe it was because of my dog.

One time I was doing field work and this guy was doing some strange running route that involved running right through the landing zone every 5 minutes. Could have just moved his route 10 yards and would have been totally out of the way.

Ok, serious question: why isn’t disc golf more popular? This is about a month I’ve been watching, thanks to Brodie and Paul, and I’m a sports junkie, I’ll watch cornhole when it’s on ESPN(not sure it’s really a sport, but...) why isn’t disc golf on ESPN, or some sports network? I know it’s been around forever, has it just never caught on? I don’t get it. I love watching it and am looking forward to playing it at some point. Just wondering.
Brad Holtz it’s all about the money brother. Whether it’s endorsements, sponsorships, costs of equipment, cost of course upkeep, disc golf sadly falls short and doesn’t have the revenue other sports have grown to have. SO FAR. Hopefully that changes
Smodoosh I hope it changes too. It’s fun to watch and I think Brodie will help bring other sponsors aboard. I didn’t even know what it was until Brodie, Paul, and Hannah made the vid out on the course. I’m hooked now! I’ve watched a bunch of men’s and women’s tournament vids. Pretty cool sport.
@@bradholtz8121 This is what needs to happen from Brodie jumping on board with Disc Golf, more people like you speaking up and letting people know that Brodie introduced you to Disc Golf and now your hooked. Companies need to see that this sponsorship for Brodie is working. And so hyped for you for getting into the sport! I'm telling you man, you have to try it and not just once. It takes quite a few times of getting out and throwing a disc to even understand what you need to change to throw better and be smarter! Good luck dude!
Pike Builds you’re spot on. I think the more people who are introduced will love it. I’m definitely going to look into getting setup with all the discs I need and can at least head out to the park and practice a bit. I didn’t think I’d like watching it, but it’s pretty darn addicting. I know Brodie has a ways to go, but he’s an athlete and I think he’ll do well after a bit.
It’s also free at 90% of the courses which is amazing for letting new people get into the sport. My dad and I got into it over quarantine and we go to a new course every weekend now

They should have a doubles match Brodie and Paige vs Hannah and Mcbeth those four are superstars the content they release is amaizing always leave you wanting more.
I think we have different definitions of "superstar" but that would be fun to watch
What i mean by superstar is some who elevates the game and is a positive role model for the sport and mcbeth and paige have done that in disc golf brodie did it in ult frisbee hannah might be newer to the sport but i have no doubt she will live up to that as well.

Steven Schwenn why is that hard to believe? Paul is extremely talented and dedicated to the sport. Dude hasn’t won 5 World Championships on his stellar looks. He definitely doesn’t have the “typical” athlete build, but most top pro disc golfers really don’t. Paul’s currently the best in the world and I don’t think any of his competition would disagree with that. Beating Paul isn’t an easy task. The few that have, definitely don’t make a habit of it.
