i have a 2013 e class but on audio i only have the first 3 options disc ucb and bluetooth. aux missing is this because of bad connection or just not available on my car, i have both of the sockets there ?

Can the music not be played via the Bluetooth connection that you use for the phone calls?
The people I know who has a Mercedes Benz uses the Bluetooth ability that way, but some devices may not have Bluetooth ability (Ex. - If someone still have a old school tape recorder, mp3, cd player, ect.), or some cars may not have the Bluetooth feature.
Hi I just bought 2011 c class 220 but I can't set up sat nave it accepte first 3 number but it doesn't accept nex 3 numbers also I can't set up Bluetooth or set up phone numbers or fone names also there no sd card the slot is bigger do u need adapter thanks if u can help me

I have this car, 2014 but the connector in the console in the middle of the two front seats isn't a 3.5 jack it's an ipod connector. My nano doesn't have bluetooth so I need to connect using a cable but I can't work out if the ipod connector is on one end, what should be on the other end?

Well you can load up music on your USB and then plug it in and play your music

Hi, yes you need to connect it to the headphone (earphone) jack. If you want calls then connect via Bluetooth (which you can also use for music). See my other videos for connecting via Bluetoooth for music and phone.

Hey thanks for the video, unfortunately i got a w204 with the same dash layout as yours but where you see you’re Aux input in the car, I have a weird port that almost looks like an sd card slot but not aux. However if i go on video settings, it does give me the option for aux and dvd to watch videos. I also checked my glove box and it’s not there? Is there any way it’s anywhere else or is it that my car doesn’t support it, despite the fact that it gives me the aux input option on the infotainment system?

@@alanhart821 We are all in the same boat. After extensive research I realized that we have to buy something called an "AMI AUX Adapter" for it to work. I'm currently struggling with installing an android screen for my car but can't connect it because I don't have an AUX port. I pulled every hair I have on my head but that was the conclusion I got to.

Hi, I think the facelift was done in 2011 so if your dashboard looks like the one in the video then it should work the same. If you have the pre facelift model (2008-2011) then I think your 3.5mm aux jack is in the glove box (Glove Compartment).Thanks.

+S.D.Photography You may have the sound on the Ipod/mobile half way or on low. If you up the sound to max on the ipod etc. then the car speakers sound should be pretty similar to the sound on the radio/cd.

look in the glove box. In a RHD car, the jack socket is on the far left. Then select aux from your radio menu.

it won't come with a cable, just a socket to plug in a seperately bought cable.
