      @@GenevieveGarbutt Yes. As true believers the Spirit of Truth lives in us, thus taking us into the presence of our Great GOD and SAVIOR when we worship HIM in spirit. He hears us.

    Psalm 56, Triumph through Prayer
    By Sons of Korah
    Be merciful to me, O my God
    My enemies pursuit me all day long
    All day they press their attack against me
    Be merciful to me, O my God
    My slanderers pursue me all day long
    They come to attack me in their pride
    When I am afraid, O Lord I will trust in you
    In God alone, whose word I truly praise
    In God I trust and I will never fear
    What can mortal man ever do to me?
    Wow they twist my words
    Oh daily plots to harm me
    They conspire, they lurk
    They watch my every step
    Even hope for chance to take my life
    to take my life
    But I know that they can't plan their own escape
    In your anger, God, bring down, bring down, bring down
    But I know that they can't plan their own escape
    In your anger, God, bring down, bring down, bring down
    Bring down the nations (x3)
    Record my lament, O Lord
    List my tears, list my tears upon your scroll
    Then all my enemies, O Lord
    Will turn back
    when I call for help.
    Record my lament O Lord
    List my tears, list my tears upon your scroll
    Then all my enemies, O Lord
    will turn back
    when I call for help
    By this I will know that God is for me
    In God, whose word I praise
    In the Lord, whose word I praise
    In God alone I trust
    I will not be afraid
    What can mortal man do to me?
    I am under vows to you, O my God
    I present my offering, thank offerings to you
    From death you have delivered me
    and my feet from stumbling,
    that I may walk before my God
    in the light (x2)
    in the light of life (x19)

    • @brucewalker3944
      @brucewalker3944 Před 5 lety +5

      It's an ancient Armenian flute called a Duduk

    • @centerfold8
      @centerfold8 Před 3 lety

      Bruce Walker they used it in Passion of the Christ

    • @michaelwebb4151
      @michaelwebb4151 Před 2 lety

      It's not actually a flute but rather a double reed instrument - like an oboe, but Bruce is right, it's a duduk

      @StormAngel-aus  Před 2 lety +1

      You're correct! Bruce Walker is playing an Armenian Duduk flute, as confirmed by his reply to Angela Cunningham's comment below :D

  • @centerfold8
    @centerfold8 Před 3 lety +1

    What type of woodwind instrument were they playing? Was it some type of wooden flute? It sounds like the soundtrack of Passion of the Christ

    • @StormAngel-aus
      @StormAngel-aus  Před 3 lety +1

      Glad to hear you're enjoying their music. I believe the instrument Bruce is playing is a duduk, an Armenian double reed woodwind instrument made of apricot wood.
