I will start with the positive. My ‘95 993 now has an extra key fob that works wonderfully. Now I just have to have an extra key cut.
Wish this company would have sent a paper instruction booklet with the fob. This video is nice but certain details are missed. The first sequence has to be done quickly. After unlocking the door you have to get the ignition turned on fast…within seconds. I finally figured this out after multiple alarms blaring. You really have to pay attention to small time frames. The packaging was not good. It came in a soft envolope with the box flattened inside. Thankfully no damage to the fob. It could have come crushed. But, I am happy that it works and is worth it!
Just a note for posterity… A few things the instructions don’t say. If there is a zero in your immobilizer code, treat it as a ten - use 10 key cycles. Also, if your hazards are fast flashing due to an impending alarm, the pairing process WILL still complete. If you have two fobs… an old one and a new one, make sure to pair BOTH at the last step. Press each and wait for the fast flash then shut off the key and test.

I have a ? How do I get the alarm to stop. My car battery was dead before I lost my only key and fob. I got a new key and fob and tried to programming the new fob but the car won’t let me . The car won’t stop beeping and let me start the programming process. am I missing something. A buddy and mine are ordering you bypass. But until we get it I am stuck with taking the car back to Porsche to re program. I would just like to try to stop the alarm and try to program my self.

If you have any did not work perhaps it's best for us to do the programming for you. That is because sometimes the car can get in the way of the key programming.

what if the car doesn´t arm the alarm at first (0:34)?
Then that probably means that you have an issue in the car's immobilizer unit OR in the alarm unit itself.
We can definitely help you out with this issue if you would like to have it diagnosed.
When do you want to get this remote programmed? Have many do you need?
Is this for your specific key fobs or is it for the OEM key fobs? I have a second key fob from porsche that I've never gotten around to programming.

The key FOB they sent me cost $325 (remote key + programming)... the new remote had a range of only 1.5m from the drivers door. Meaning if you stand farther away, the new remote won't work. My 25year old remote worked from beyond the 4meter range. ECU doctors said that maybe they supplied a defective FOB and that they would replace it... but this offer never happened despite my follow up... I'd be careful to deal with this group. They are quick with the money but poor on support.
