Now that you have done some fishing with the new map, how is it? Are you happy you spent $60? I'm so close to buying the dlc, but i can't get past a couple of things, and your opinion would be welcome.
Honestly, 60 is steep, but 60 days of access is amazing given the amount of xp here. My professional opinion even though you asked MDawg and not me (I have the smaller 40$ ocean pack with 30 days) is that if your goal is to grind to 80 from anything less than level 40 the 60$ pack much more worth it. It's only 20$ more, which is what, two fast food visits? If you're already at level 50+, the smaller pack should do the job. If levelling isn't a concern you can look at it from an ascetics POV. Which view of your rods from the console on the boat would you prefer, a higher looking down angle as on the bigger boat or a closer to the water view as in the smaller Scutum boat.
One Tipp I would give you is twitching the bait at the spot you showed with retrieve speed 1
