As a South Aussie, the scariest part of this video was seeing what you get for $1million in Melbourne these days. Adelaide’s lost the plot with housing prices but your vid made it look affordable again. My kids are a bit younger than you, Jackson, so I’ve promised them I’m just going to pop my clogs early so they can claim their inheritance to buy a house. Seems like the best solution to the housing crisis 👍
With $1000000 u can get a 3 storey bungalow with a freaking elevator here in malaysia

i've lived in an apartment that has a sink with a square basin (rather than round one that slopes downwards) and it SUUUUUUUUCKS!!! i will never understand people designing sinks to be like this

Wouldn't be surprised if you'd get a whole, small castle (maybe semi-furnished or you find treasures on the attic) for the same price somewhere in Europe. And it would be way more aestheticly pleasing. Maintenance would be expensive though 😬
I live in Denmark, and you could easily get a castle for this price, probably furnished (the furniture is sometimes specific to the house so it doesn't make sense to move it). They are nowhere near this expensive to buy, but they are of course a bit expensive to live in.

Man the absolute state of that house, the toilets not having bidets is an even greater travesty than the bored apes.

That second one was basically a warehouse retrofitted as a house. I mean, _spacious_ is nice, but I imagine that it is quite drafty. Probably has terrible sound insulation as well. Play music at ANY volume, and those metal walls are going to wake up the entire neighborhood. 😢
That house is so disappointing! Small bathrooms, standard to small(ish) guest bedrooms, corrosion, a billion light bulbs that would need replacing every few months, awkward sight lines of neighbors houses, and lack of comfortable social spaces. This house was designed by a child with legos.

It could be inspired by that one house that was seized from a pirating group (edit: It wasn't a house shown in this video). It was basically like a warehouse/library of stolen or copied items, and the challenge for the virtual tour was to figure out where the heck the bathroom was in this labyrinth.
Come to think of it, if the courthouse was auctioning off that house "as is" (meaning without clearing out the pirated goods) wouldn't they become guilty of a single act of MASSIVE piracy? 😂
The outside view of that house, with the "planned spa" :D And the confirmation there is no private beach to that and the sand is faked there.
This has no business being as good to watch as it is.

The secret to these housing prices is that they make up the prices and people buy them not because they think its worth that much, but because the moment they make that transaction thats the value of the house, so they can resell it for 100mil or more later.

Whats sad is that most of those home just sit there cause 1 its too expensive and 2 IF for some reason someone actually decided to buy it. They arent gonna live there cause they already have a main home. This was just to flex that they have it. Ive also seen people buy a house like this and then leave like a year or two years in. Id sugesdt just cut thise homes in half because the real reason its so expensive isnt the actually house but the property tax and mortgage.
