- Trinidad has incredible natural beauty, extremely wealthy areas, and pockets of poverty and high crime (not that different from the United States). Here is a drive through one of the notorious neighbourhoods outside Port of Spain, known for crime and gang activity.

Visited Trinidad Laventille in the 80s on vacation it was high up hills pass a church meet bóxer Lesley Stewart visit play ground near block 22 had a nice time it was safe an much fun ..

Not the greatest area, I will admit, but for a slum, it doesn't look bad compared to some other places in the Caribbean I've seen. Good on Trinidad
What slum? Go to South Africa and east africa and latin America you will speak differently.

This is the Old St Joseph Road and all vehicles heading East in the morning pass there as the main road is a one-way till 9am...Other vehicles use that route regularly....If it's soo dangerous, I wonder how you drove through with such ease and took a video with no one watching you with a gun in their waist.... No one even tried to stop you from recording #stupes.....Please impress me because that is not a dangerous road in Laventille this is the back road which is close to the main road.
