This was one of Jeck Beck signature songs..to me it puts him in a class all by itself..fifty years later it still is par excellence..

Takes me back to driving into NYC in the Summer with four or five buddies in my 1978 Nova...blasting There and Back on the west side highway...open windows no air conditioning running...just spreading our wings.
One of my favorite tunes by Jeff Beck. The harmonics he gets are out of this world.
Excellent cover!!! You got the feel for the song spot on. Many overplay playing this song, they don't know how to hold back and play it with feeling like Jeff Beck. Some try to shred in this song and it don't work. Great job.

I learned some of the basics about this track in 1985 but got lost 😞 at 2:12 on your you tube video and now I am 59 was 20 when I started learning it great rendition!
Nice interpretation. I'd like to see him have the confidence not too drive the treble too far, as his phrasing was great - really understands that silence is just as powerful as shredding. A welcome change from the would-be Val Halens!

Joel Graham thank you, for this a used a Mesa Boogie TA-30, 2x12 cabinet mic’d and for the gainier part i used a Xotic BB Preamp as a Boost, a Boos DD-3 on the loop for the delay ;)
