    Go for ECE being an EIE graduate I am suggesting, ECE has more opportunity both in IT sector and in core sector and I will suggest must prepare for embedded system while persuing your BTech in electronics subjects ,it will help you out to get job in IT or core branch easily.

    1. Which is best?
    2. Will there be same syllabus in both (only for "electronics" part)

    4. Is EIE better than ECE? (since, communication subject has fallen down nowadays)

      Yes they do get opportunities to sit in software companies with a decent gpa. For few top rated companies, the CGPA requirement is minimum 9.

    • @chiragsatapathy3315
      @chiragsatapathy3315  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes you can shift to any branch you want. But you have to complete the pre requisite of the course. Also program migration happens after your first year. And the number of seats that will open is only 2%. So, if you want to shift to CSE which has 3000 seats, then only 60 seats will be open for migration and you should have a great gpa and extracurricular base.

      Extracurricular activities basically. Like any competitions won or participated in. And for ore requisite course, so for example you want to shift to CSE, then in your second semester you have to do two courses, data structures and algorithms and digital logic design. Only if you complete these courses, you'll be eligible to apply for migration.

      I would prefer EIE as it's a specialized course that has multiple sub domains like biomedical instrumentation, robotics, ML and many more. Only electrical engineering focuses on core electricals like transformers which is confined to one area. If your interests are inclined towards only electrical and high voltage domains, then go with electrical engineering or else if you want to explore other specialized domains go with EIE.
