A fun fact that noone care: ... in this rally started a three-time european rally champion ('66, '67, '71) Sobiesław Zasada with his wife Ewa. Nothing new for them, because they started together several times in the past. In 1997, both 67 years old (yes, they ware that old!!!), they finished Safari Rally 12 in general, and 2-nd in group N. They suffer only minor incidents like several flat tires (during one change the lifter broke, and fans help them lift the car), smashed tubular bumper cover, added 3 km of mistaken route (caused by a herd of cows), a stump thrown on the windshield...
This should come back. Easter was not complete without it!
