Guys it isnt just about the wins to get higher rank. Its about your mmr, kda, and what you did. For example, planting, clutching, defusing, buying for other teammates, and etc. Just cause you win 40 games and still silver means you didnt do Jack shit or your mmr is super low from the beginning.

Lol all these comments about how they are so good and got placed in bronze.. i got places in silver 3 and was able to skip ranks all the way to plat 2 in 2 days. Just play the game and get what rank u really deserve stop complaining that the ranking system is broken. Also to all these people saying they were the MVPs in all their games and won 4 out of 5: you are playing in a low mmr of course you are doing well. If you were to play against plat/diamond players you would do so much worse.
ranking system is broken my guy, 4-1 match mvp all 5 unranked and got placed bronze. But then I skipped all the way to plat in 2 days

in ranked you start at ground zero, no previous mmr accounted. "playing in low mmr" argument is bullshit. winning 4/5 and getting mvps in all games SHOULD amount to better ranks, obviously, and whether you did it in valorant rank or iron 1 doesnt matter, you still get equal points

riot places you based on how well you play in normal games as well
oli ver during placements how you do during the game is weighed more heavily than if you won or not, after placements the game basically only cares if you win or lose

The more I play, the more I realize playing off of sounds and coms from teammates is better than looking at the map, because it takes your focus off of your crosshair.

It's his unrated MMR, before ranked came out he and other streamers like shroud were already playing at a high level, so everybody basically already has a rank when they start placement matches, that's why some people play against bronze or irons in placement and these guys played against plats and diamonds in placements, it was their level of play before ranked came out

BreadLife Gaming it’s because his hidden mmr is higher, more games doesn’t necessarily mean you will have a higher mmr they’re just better players. These are ex cs pros it’s not easy to compare ourselves to
@@chrisgardner1903 yea it's not really about the amount of games played it's more about how good you are in those games, like the other guy said though these are former or current pros so it just might take you more time to get up there than them.

@@unusualgaming8629 nah unranked definitely had mmr because when I would play with my friends everyone would be garbage and I dropped over 40 kills multiple times but when I solo queued I was barely going positive
they probably made it easier to get high rank for beta anyway since less people

@@STR-sd4rt if you looked into it, they used the unrated games mmr a lot for your placements because they need more data for the closed beta, yes they shouldn't have used it as heavily as they did but its closed beta many have complained and they will change the system, you don't keep your rank and it's a hard reset on launch so. Also if you're so much better than iron then surely you will stomp them and get out fast, no?

@@l00tgoblin37 Valorant is extremely bad atm. Hitboxes are shit, the abilities make no sense, the maps are bad, run and gun is a thing. There is no skill in valorant in this beta. They have a long way to go before it can even be compared to CS. It took CS a long time so it will take Valorant a long time.
