The tourists are not being rude many are unsure. Also the young Guard is NOT allowed to make a comment unless anyone holds the reins. The young guards push you away just by looking as they are quiet fierce. But 99.9 % of tourists are polite but it is extremely hectic and full on. Take a trip to London and see.

Maybe the Guard didn't feel threatened by him. The horse was calm & obviously realised he wasn't a threat, even though it wasn't a pleasant experience for him. If he was spooked by the man, we'd have known about it!

He was showing the Ace of Spades which is commonly known as the “death card” but he’s having an episode so I wouldn’t read too much into it.
Why didn't the armed police stop this guy? The person with the TV camera knew straight away this guy was not right in the head, that is why he kept following him to see what he was doing. Why didn't the armed police step in straight way? This guy was acting just like "Karen" that is always talking to the horses as if she was some sort of "Horse Whisperer", same as this guy. I always think she is testing the security out, to se what she can get away with.

Yes, I get the feeling he knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s too well dressed for the act he’s portraying, intentionally baiting the guards to get himself noticed. The police need to get this sorted out much quicker than the Karen episode which took months. I could of course have got this all wrong.
You did the right thing to follow and record his activity. Either he’s got severe issues, or he is a major jerk. Your filming really does make it safer for everyone concerned. Everyone. Even for himself. 👍👍👍👍👍
Has anyone thought that this young man may have tourettes syndrome.? I worked with a young man years ago who had the same tics and actions. Give him some empathy he can't control these actions. I may be wrong if so I apologise

I swear that’s the way some of these crowds swarm the horse to pet his face. I wonder how there’s any fur left on his poor face. Some of those horses must be incredibly patient to withstand all those hands in their face.

I don't know what he is trying to do, but he's obviously not playing with a full deck. Keep him away! He was claiming to be a tour guide.
The reason there are more out then in is, most of the big mental health hospitals have been closed. Some have care staff visit to do meds and keep an eye on mood and behaviour. If he is a mental health patient he might be living alone or in a group home. I do think his behaviour is unpredictable and he could be a threat to adults and children. As well as the guards and horses, only one policeman appeared, the rest were missing. If these individuals are visiting more often, maybe an increase in officers at horse guards.
Is there a mental health facility in the area and do they come from there? Of course he could be absolutely fine just looking for his fifteen minutes of fame. I stand by my idea of removing the horses and just have the guards on duty.

100% agree... everyone is trying to be funny with their own euphemisms for mental difficulties (a pork pie short of a picnic etc.) but it's just sad that people have no empathy whatsoever for those suffering from mental health issues.
