I think that’s a valid perspective. I also think that as women specifically, we can’t go off of uncertainty. Since the beginning Mimii received so many compliments for the way she carried herself... all to end like this. Sad. It was hard to see her on her knees on that terrace and sitting on the floor, waiting for a man that never really wanted her.
For once, Ayo did the right thing. She was on the terrace because she was hoping that conversation would end in a kiss and them back together. Not going up there was the loudest and clearest statement Ayo could have made that things were completely finished between them. Mimii is young, hopefully she will learn a lot from this Love Island experience and the mistakes she made.
She'll be in the final 4 couples anyway ( 3rd or 4th place), with Nicole and Cieran (winners), Joey and Jessy and Sean and Matilda, as producers want. I dont care who wins.
Yeah..this is what the producers wanted as top 3 couples. But Mimi played herself and spoilt the arc of two solid couples because of her desperation.
There's an argument to be made that, that was the most embarrassing moment ever on the show.

That Convo with Jess where Mimi is speaking for Ayo talking about these feelings they have in a box had me groaning so bad. The only person holding that box is YOU Mimi. People are going through HOOPS to defend Mimi's actions and I get it but Mimi is being young and dumb and not listening/seeing qhats in front of her. She's not acting like the prize she is. It was simple, if he is not willing to leave Jess for her, its time to fake it with Josh if you have to until you are actually over it.
