Macaulay Langstaff scored 42 league goals for Notts County and Paul Mullin scored 53 for Wrexham in the 2022/23 season. Wrexham finished top and secured promotion to the Football League.County were second so in the Vanarama league play off final which they won. They are interviewed by the BT Sports team at Wembley on 13 May 2023. - Jak na to + styl
Spent the last year and a half falling in love with Wrexham and accidentally became a Nott's fan in the process.
Congratulations to Nott's county. In some ways they deserved it more than anyone. I'm thrilled they were promoted along with Wrexham!
As a Wrexham fan I am so happy Notts got promoted also, I cannot wait for that game next season, fantastic team
for sure. it's great to actually see the best two teams go up for once.
I'm a luton town fan who lives in doncaster. so I've lived the non-league experience twice lol.
I've never forgotten the 5th tier. i always keep up to date. probably the hardest league to get out of. so demoralising for the clubs/fans/atmosphere.
look at torquay, scunny etc. sad af
Looking forward to the Notts - Wrexham rivalry again next season
If injuries don't happen, then both teams might actually get promoted because in League Two its four teams that go up.
This is a brilliant interview which shows that Langstaff and Mullin can talk honestly and intelligently as well as being excellent footballers. Congratulations to BT sport for their excellent coverage of the game. Michael Parkinson
So glad Notts did it, well deserved and that's from a Wrexham fan, football is the winner here.
@@user-ds3my4nr3l Would have been criminal iff Notts didn't go up with that season.
Do you happen to also have the interview before that with Mullin and Luke Williams? I thought that was absolutely fascinating, the two bantering about how they were playing against each other.
@@gargaj Thank you for your question but I do not have that interview, I would like to have seen it though. Michael Parkinson
Great interview with massive respect
Grats to Notts County! Great to see they are getting promoted.
Grats
Mutual respect shown in abundance COYP
Great stuff, great to see Mullins there, really good to see rivalry and respect both great sportsman! More of that in football please!
Thanks for sharing this. When the feed cut off at the end of the match, I was so gutted that we'd miss this!!
Wonderful - what a story. So glad both teams went up in the end.
I can see both teams getting promotions again next season , Good Luck to both teams
So happy for notts county they deserve to go up 100%
Both quality players, well done Wrexham from a Notts fan. Good luck next season.
Langstaff is brilliant great character always smiling
Two of the very best!
Even though Wrexham and Notts County are going up, the NL is still going to be interesting. I'm a new fan of football thanks to 'Welcome to Wrexham'. So I will still keep an eye on NL while watching Wrexham and Notts County in League 2. This is what Ryan and Rob have done, they have brought new fans, some of which had no interest at all in football before. A large portion of that new intake support Wrexham but loads will have discovered their own corner of the 'lower leagues' to find something interesting and rewarding. I was born in Wrexham so that's where I have gravitated towards. But had I been born elsewhere, I would probably have turned to a different club. This is what it needed, a bit of passion from 2 unlikely owners. people tuned in and saw what football can mean. It's not a bunch of tattooed millionaires prancing about and rolling on the floor (well, sometimes...) it's a well drilled side of averagely paid athletes facing another well drilled side of averagely paid athletes.
Oxford City in the fifth tier!
thats great to see to classy strikers appreciating eachother, makes it even more special they both got promoted
It would have been a cruel injustice if they hadn't gone up.
A friendly revival!
A friendly rivalry!
.......Next season "rivalry revival". 🤔
@@markroberts3522 It's a good rivalry because it'll spur both teams on !
Delighted for County, they fully deserve it.
Two great strikers. Both could hold their own much higher up the pyramid.
Mullin already has thats where Wrexham poached him from!
@v1sionary100
League 2 with Cambridge is far from much higher.
What about the other clubs he played for??!??? The fact is you know very little about football and are undoubtedly a ‘plastic fan’ who has arrived on the bandwagon! lol
@v1sionary100
Been watching at the Racecourse since 1970. You know football no more than a spoon knows the taste of soup.Abject dolt.
@v1sionary100
Mullin has never played higher than League 2.Do your research plank.
Looking forward to this rivalry.
Very happy for Notts County...
Wonderful piece. Langers voice reminds me of the ex army Geordie in Alan Partridge 😆. Good player la.Mulls is a ledge.Tewn!
I thought I had the speed on 1.5 with how fast he speaks haha
Good to see two big clubs come up I'm sick of seeing tinpot sides make it into the Football League
What a dramatic ending to their season, hope they fight it out for first place next year.
Paul Mullin looking good in suit!!
Can you upload the coin toss and the build up before the shootout please! 🙏🏼
Sorry @stevanatkins7944, I used the highlights that were broadcast on Sunday and they did not include the coin toss. Michael Parkinson
Needs subtitles
Would have been a great injustice if Mott's county didn't get promoted. Chuffed for all Mott's county fans you've been amazing.
Notts
Netflix made them famous. Both should come to apoel nicosia
I’ve never heard someone who sounds like they’ve been sped up before
Thank you @JohnLakeOfficial for your comment. I have loaded a printed transcript of the interview for people who may like to read what was said. This is the CZcams link czcams.com/video/d8-cWQTfKDc/video.html Michael Parkinson
Good luck people who don’t speak English as a first language 😂
That’s the funniest comment I’ve seen so far!!! 😅😅😅
@@philkirk4571 Not meant to be funny.Just factual.

I've learned english from watching youtube, so I can pretty much understand every accent

That guy talks In fast forward lol couldn't make out a word 😅
My man speaks faster than he scores goals. He'd give the micromachine guy a run for his money, I would think.
thought it was sped up
Need subtitles on these non-league interviews lmao
This is the longest I have seen Mullins stand up without him throwing his self on the ground
*Mullin
I'm glad Langstaff did this interview on the pitch, he'd gone missing up until this point. This just proves he was actually there. 😂
@@jamsams and the score was
@@michaelmcquiggan1252 2-2
What the heck was Langstaff saying? Was he actually speaking English? Mullin wasn't much better.
Hello @davidhome6739 I turned the sound up and could detect what was said but I had to concentrate because he does talk fast. He has
demonstrated his his footballing ability with 42 league goals for Notts County in the 22/23 Vanarama National League season. Michael Parkinson
Lol mr posh southerner
Paul Mullin still comes across as an unlikeable person.
How many lang/longstaffs are there in the northeast? 😂
