@@wingfoil_mallorca Good thanks Fredric. Going into winter down here in New Zealand, but although the skies can be a bit grey, the wind is blowing. Currently about 17 knots. Just about to go out for a wing. I am enjoying surfing back in on the waves using the 1099 and advance fueselage. Slowly getting better at picking the best path!
Sounds great if you can keep rippin as long as possible. I’d think winter in NZ could be quite “fresh“ and not possible to ride through? Should be great conditions there, whereabouts are you riding in NZ? I went there many years ago and have good memories from that stay.
Very nice, and yup, taking your kit to different regions in Spain can be quite challenging, I have some friends who travel down to Tarifa from our area and it's amazing 3m wing's tiny boards. Looking forward to the TAKOON board review! I have switched from hard handles to soft as I am seeing too many handles dinging the board. I think they need to look into the front handle on all makes to give it some neoprene protection or something. Don't want that on my new Sky Style! Once again great video and editing. Hi Dan, thank you. Yes, Spain is a big country, you realise that when you drive... But of course, Tarifa is worth it! Interesting that you have gone from hard handles to soft. All I hear is the other way around. But I agree, the hard handles stick out a lot, which can be a problem. The new Takoon Ultra wing front handle stick out crazy much. They say it makes less stress on your hands and arms when you have that angle. We will see and hear after people been riding with them. I have mostly been riding Vayu wings last year and they have an excellent solution for the handles that makes them more flush alongside the strut. I have no dings in my board. You have a nice new board, the yellow one? I'll come back with a review of the 80L Takoon board soon after some more rides! And I appreciate you give me feedback on the ratio of voice/music. I'll lower the music a bit. Happy riding and stay safe!
Yup, was not a great decision. But you learn of your mistakes. I was 77 kg then, that’s not enough to warrant a 4! 🙄🧐😂 The day after I was on a 3m and that worked a lot better. I had a 2,5 as well and that would have been even better but Diane was on that one. She needed it better. Anyway, a good experience as in what not to do! 😂😂😂
