And I didn't notice them and was thinking that's all the lightening I have in my backyard so far! 😂 I have almost 40 tall pine trees bordering the yard, and the outline of them with some of the many, many lightening bugs in them looks like rows of Christmas trees with flickering gold lights!😁

What an enchanting tour of the garden that becomes even more magical at night ! I have spotted a few fireflies and the lighted bubbling fountain is truly delightful. I love the garden library at night with the beautiful flower arrangement above the fireplace. You comment about keeping cool made me smile as for us here in London UK we barely reach 66 o Fahrenheit at the warmest part of the day of what should be summer 😃! Seeing you so happy with Grace smelling of Lavender is a JOY 💚

I didn’t know hoselink also made lights. I live in Southern California so we don’t have to take in our solar lights. Over the years, we’ve collected many lights, so it look so magical at night. It’s currently in the low to mid 80s here. So not too bad.
I didn’t know either! I heard Erin from The Impatient Gardener talk about them last year.
I’m from California…….but I think I saw fireflies blinking?? Never saw them in person ❤❤

We added the Hoselink globes and pathlights [dim light until something moves near them to be brighter] to our lower canyon garden last year in the spring. They last, as you mentioned, until dawn. Well worth the money. We have postcap solar lights from Amazon that last all night as well. They fit many sized posts and also very long lasting. Z9b/Sunset z17 SF Bay Area. Unusually warm for our area but no 100* as the fog keeps our nights cool and the canyon does as well. We have some 80+* days but return to the 70’s fairly quickly. Thank you for your evening tour!

A lovely setting of peace and beauty. You should consider doing evening garden events for private small groups. We get hail here so I would be concerned about the lights that are glass but overall such a pretty setup.

Lovely. Aside from your pretty lighting I enjoyed seeing the fireflies that got in the shot now and then. One thing I've added to my nighttime lighting is solar 'uplights' - using them for trees and other features I've wanted to highlight

I'm running Romex thru 40+ year old hard green water hose and string it to the rear of my backyard to get electric safely to the back .
A fountain and fall pond is a plan.
I'm running real water hose just below the electric with valves at each station.
I got electric pump on the way and drip irrigation 3 of 5 rain barrels set.
This is first year making beds takes about 3 years to be established for production.
I'm doiin sunflowers and other color flowers just a bed at a time.
I like your garden it's like a wonderland it's so full and deep you see no end or stoppin points like never never land sorta especially your flat stone paths.

Beautiful flower arrangement. I believe in the magic of lighting. I light high, well above my head, eye
, shoulder or waist height, and low.,1-2 feet above the ground. Three levels of lighting are pleasing to the eye and help me see, enjoy, and function safely in our garden and property at night. I encourage you to go as high as possible. Also, as within a room, have a light feature in the corners of your garden rooms. Cozy.
