i love how clear your videos are.... also, I was stuck between a Honda Rancher, or a Yamaha Kodiak... watching how the Yamaha has been so kind to you on these videos .. ( reliable, no breakdowns, and suck.. ) i told my wife, im looking into the new Kodiak 450.. My father in law, ( passed 12/28/17 ) and i went looking at atv's he was all .. HONDA.. lol we had planned to go to Hatfield mccoy trails this summer.. Im still planning to make that trip... keep up the awesome videos, really appreciate them and you guys sharing the amazing view and scenery the good lord gave us.. got bless.

Hey, J Wright Man that's a lot of information in your comment there my friend.First off sorry for your loss of your father-in-law my condolences go out to you and your family. I like Hondas as well I still own one a TRX 700 XX. Don't really ride it anymore now sense we have the utility machines but I just can't seem to let it go. Lol
We have definitely had good luck with the two Yamaha's that we own. The bike the wife used to have was a Kawasaki Prairie 360 really good machine but that thing was slow as all get out. Just didn't have much speed running down the roads. When I seen that Yamaha put the 700 engine out of the grizzly in the Kodiak I thought that would fit her perfectly.
Good power but it feels like you're on a smaller Machine.
So for no regrets on buying these bikes. With all of that being said buying a Honda you know what you get reliability and a good machine's. I hope you all get to take your trip to Hatfield &McCoy this summer it was one of our funnest trips. We're planning on going back again this fall I believe.
Appreciate the kind words it means a lot to us when folks say they enjoy the videos!! Thanks very much!!

Buffalo mtn trail system is my favorite. The town of williamson has a great sports bar we always stop at for lunch. It's called "Starters ". And that's a great idea having everyone switching machines! Makes you appreciate what you have, or it might make you want to upgrade! That was awesome! Cool video!

Hey Mawk Yeah Buffalo Mountain was definitely fun for sure! We went into the town of man when we rode the Rockhouse trail system and had lunch at Keith's bar two days before we rode this trail system. Was fun riding into town to have lunch. I think we're going to try and go back there next year for a trip maybe we can go in to the town of Williamson and check out starters sounds cool!
Yeah you're right the bikes which was fun! The guy on the old arctic cat wants to upgrade he just can't afford it now.

@@kcatv9556 I have an older Arctic cat 400 4x4 2003, which has been downgraded to pretty much my snow plowing my 600 ft driveway and the 1/4 mile long private road we live on here in Michigan. But in 2003, it served me well on many rides. I was usually the only utility atv on rides. I had a storage box and carried many tools, air compressor, and everyone else's clothes. Lol. The tools I carried proved to be essential for a couple breakdowns of 2wd sport atv's in our group. After a couple on trail repairs of other atv's, I never was made fun of the quad I bought. Lol. When your 25 miles from truck and trailer, and you have the means to fix your sport atv because of the capability of what I had, to carry tools, air compressor, or tow strap. Opinions change real quick. Lol.

"I'm back on your donkey" - LOL!!! Never heard that one before. I'll be usin' it for sure! The best part of that was Ms.K's reply, "Not on my donkey" - BAHAHAHA!!!! Now that's funny!
What's the difference between a valley & a hollow? I looked it up on google and now I know - yeeehaw!
I loved Ms.K's initial description of the Polaris (Big Old Horse) - HAHAHA!!!
Which machine did you find most comfortable/ergonomically correct?
Did you ever figure out what that machine was at the 17:00 min mark?
That was a big ass wasp/hornet nest! Coincidentally, there will be a couple of nests like that in my next video.
Are you still likin' those Elka's?
Excellent video KC! Thanx for sharin' bud and Happy New Year to ya!!!

Anyways yeah I don't think Ms K wanted me on her donkey LOL hope you figured out what the difference between A valley and a holler is hahaha I don't know?
As far as which machine I thought was most comfortable well grizzlies handlebars were set to high and Herms handlebars were set too low and yup you guessed it mine were just right. LOL
No seriously I thought my machine was the most comfortable for me.
Maybe it's just because I'm used to it perhaps.
We never did figure out what that machine was we took a picture and showed it to Marty you know the guy who owns the trail house he didn't know either. The Elka's
Still very happy with them was a good upgrade.
Our bikes ride as good as the Polaris's do probably even better.
Guys say you have to buy a Polaris to have a good ride. But I find that's only the people that who have bought a Polaris who say that.
Oops that might piss off my Polaris buddies sorry guys it's not personal. LOL. That's ironic that you seen a hornets nest like that as well and you'll be putting it in your next video what's the odds of that.
As always thanks for the awesome comment buddy!!

man oh man those are some amazing trails ! I sure wish H&M wasn't so far from where I live b/c I'd be there for sure ! they sure know what they are doing when coming to trail making. Has your wife had any issues with the Kodiak ? my Grizz has been great. I like the "Chinese fire drill" idea too, some may find the name offensive in todays cry baby world lol and isn't the power difference from the Grizz to those Renegades insane? I love the power haha Nice video !!!

Hey! Maritimer yeah Hatfield definitely does a great job on the trail there are well-maintained and marked all you need is a map and you always know where you're at.
It was a long trip there for us as well I think it was around 14 Hour Dr. from where we live. It was a fun trip we're planning on going back again this year sometime this fall. Crybaby world hahaha you got that right I'm sure somebody got offended by that.lol
As far as issues with the bikes nope neither bike have given us any issues at all I'm really please with the Kodiak! The wife's really happy with the bike glad we got that for her. The Yamaha's may not be the fastest but they have a durable transmission clutch and belt set up no issues in that area you know what I mean.
Don't want to say anything bad about Polaris but the two guys that are riding the Polaris machines head there one way engine braking bearing freeze up on both of them at about 250 miles. Piss poor set up having an issue like that on those machines.
One thing that Yamaha could have done better is the airbox set up on the 16s and up they didn't put much time and engineering in on that. That's one thing I did to the wife's bike is I made some modifications to the airbox I'll try and find some time to do a video on what I did. I was noticing some light dust build up on the airhorn inside the air filter housing and that concern me so I decided to rework the air box and see if I could improve the sealing issue.
Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting my friend greatly appreciated!
I see you posted a new vid I'll have to check it out this weekend the thumbnail pic looks pretty cool!

Hey buddy, I'm glad to hear your having good luck with the Kodiak, I only ask bc so many ppl on the grizzly FB page are having smoking issues on start up on the 16's and even some 17's.... no issues with mine yet. and I agree and I hope you post that air box video, I'd like to fix mine up too, and the rear storage box on the grizzly could be sealed better, it's kind of half ass'd to be honest. even with the door closed I can see inside the box haha No Joke! I took some 1" foam with a sticky side, and put it on there and it keeps the dust and dirt out, but not waterproof at all.

Hi, Marcelle I think we were so excited the trails were smooth so we could run fast. Usually wear on trails that are so rough they beat you to death so we don't get a chance to run fast very often you know what I mean?
Glad you liked the video thanks for watching appreciate it!!
