Neet Streeter came out in 1976. It was a modification of the 1969 Classic 36 Ford casting. They did away with the earlier casting's opening rumble seat and added a plastic scoop through the hood. The Olds casting appears to be a 1968 Cutlass convertible, although it has no convertible boot and the proportions are a bit off. The markings mimic the 1972 Hurst Olds Indy pace car but since the casting is the wrong year they made it a pace car of a fictitious raceway. I always loved the Texas Drive'em since it came out, mainly because when I was in Maine when I was 18 I bought a real 1969 Ford F250 4X4 with an 8 foot Fisher quik-switch plow. I hope to replicate that truck in 1/64 scale some day. I may use the M2 casting, though.
That's a good case brother. All of the cars are totally awesome. Initially I thought the Porsche, Aston Martin and Oldsmobile were first with metal based but I was wrong. They had been made with metal bases before. As always, great video review. Thanks!
Would be awesome if they included that 917K in the Entertainment line since Steve McQueen did drive one in the 1971 movie Le Mans. I never saw the movie, and, it's way before my time, but, imagine how cool would that be! Would probably be rather hard to fine as well haha.
The neat streeter is growing on me now that you show it loose. The Camaro for sure is my most favorite. But the one that will fly out the pegs will be the Texas truck for sure.
Check out how deep dish those rear rims are on the '69 Camaro - so awesome! I think Mattel have done a good job of making the mix appeal to many tastes. Only wish there was a Japanese car in the mix, but hey there's plenty of other lines with those to satisfy us. Great review as always buddy. Best wishes.
I have been hunting a lot for these and oddly enough the only one that always seems to be there is that Neat Streeter...the hunt for the Texas Drive Em continues.
+Austin Batista Hmm... The Texas Drive Em will likely be very hard to get due to scalpers and hoarders. I can't say that I blame either though, with the history this casting has of increasing in value almost instantly.
It's hard to pick a favourite from this case, my heart is saying Neet Streeter but I think the Cutlass is the coolest, especially with the authentic Hurst Pace Car livery. The 917 isn't too far behind either. You should have taken a redline Neet Streeter and 917 off the wall and compared them side-by-side! Great case, great vid.
+reeceracing123 I should have compared the Neet Streeter with the original version, I even thought of that while I was filming. Next time the opportunity presents itself in a future video, I will think twice! Thanks for the comment
I am not that much into unlicensed cars but i have to admit this mate black Neet Streeter looks awesome. As for the rest, my picks would be the Oldsmobile and the Porsche. Nothing wrong with the rest, just that they have been done better before.
You might be wrong on the Neat Streeter.. My local Target put out a case of these and according to the store employee I got to them an hour later & all that was left was the Aston Martin & the Neat Streeter. Everything else was gone.
+Declan Lewis (HotWheelsPreviewChannel1) Not very often, but on occasion. It really depends on who has the cheapest shipping in large part to my neck of the woods.
Very nice set.

As always, great video review. Thanks!
+Ivan Delgado Yes you are correct, I believe some of the cars you mentioned were released in either Garage series or Classics series from years back.

superb thumbs up :)
+Maria Cristina Moliva Thanks! :)
Good review buddy very well. Thanks for showing 👍🏽

+Rivera E Thanks for weighing in, and I agree with you... although I bet the Camaro turns out to be pretty popular too... good picks!

nice review and set
Also I believe that the Porsche was in a Walmart exclusive Porsche series this year
+I LIKE TACOS CATS AND CARS Yes you are correct, although I believe it had a plastic base then...
+wtffor probably
I love that Olds but the Neat Streeter is the best of this set imo (;
+GHOSTJERKER I'm with ya on that one! Thanks for watching!

+49ers1975 It's a nice batch!

aston martin all day

+Elisio Da Costa The Neet Streeter is actually a real life car, it is a hot rod version of a 1936 Ford Coupe.
+wtffor I stand corrected then. More reason for me to get it :)
Nice review...Aston Martin for me!
+321bytor It's a good roller too!
You might be wrong on the Neat Streeter.. My local Target put out a case of these and according to the store employee I got to them an hour later & all that was left was the Aston Martin & the Neat Streeter. Everything else was gone.
+falcondriver100 Could be a local thing also, but yes I may be wrong as well.
wtffor I'm just hoping to get the Texas Drive em and the Camaro!
+falcondriver100 Found them all except for the darn truck.. First guys to find them are buying all the Drive ems........
I've cracked open 2 Camaros and both of them have problems with the rear axle rolling.
+Richieboy87 It is very disappointing when this happens with the cars.
I ordered myself a case, too!!! Do you order yours from: 1stopdiecast???
+Declan Lewis (HotWheelsPreviewChannel1) Not very often, but on occasion. It really depends on who has the cheapest shipping in large part to my neck of the woods.
quik question are these reproductions or originals? they seem to be in relly good/ constant conditon for originals.
+Tom Brooks They are brand new, removed from the shipping package on video.
