  • Potassium plays an essential role in the electrical conduction through the heart. When serum potassium levels are higher than 5.5 mEq/L, there becomes an increased risk for lethal cardiac dysrhythmias and cardiac arrest.

    The "imagine the EKG as a string being pulled at both ends" analogy kind of blew my mind and honestly made remembering the sequence of changes so much easier to remember. Thank you ^^

    there's a bit of a typo at 1:10. should be "P wave flattening" instead of T wave. otherwise, amazing VIDEOOOO!!
