- Hey y’all & welcome to episode three of our P&O Arvia Cruise around the Mediterranean. In this episode we continue our cruise onboard P&Os newest ship, Arvia. In our final leg of the cruise we head to Marseille, France, before visiting Barcelona and Cadiz in Spain. We then cruise into some sea days on our return journey back to Southampton and a not so warm UK.
We start off waking up in Marseille, France, where we spend a few hours exploring the city and grab a real-life french croissant! After a quick trip into the city we return to the ship to take advantage of a quiet day onboard.
Our next port of call, and our busiest day so far, is Barcelona, Spain. We head out early taking a stroll down La Rambla, before walking the city streets to La Sagrada Familia. We also pop by some other landmarks including the Arc De Triomf. Come with us as we take a ride on the old and new cable car up to Castell de Montjuic.
We then dock in Cadiz, Spain, where once again we explore the port without any booked excursions. We show you around the shopping area, and go for a leisurely stroll through this beautiful port. We then spend an afternoon relaxing onboard in the swim up bar and infinity pool.
We then have a couple of sea days to end our Mediterranean cruise heading up to Southampton UK. Some activities onboard during this episode include Mini-Golf, Inifinity Pools, Shows, and more that Arvia has to offer.

La Coruna - Spain, Palma de Mallorca - Spain and La Spezia - Italy.

Hello Guys, so glad we found your vlogs as we are doing the same itinery this year on Arvia. We have never been on Arvia before and heard lots of mixed reviews and you have posted a lot of information to give us a heads-up about the ship. Realy enjoyed seeing your tours of the ports on video as I spent a lot of time trying to research each one and yours was so much more informative as well as visual. Thanks very much for a very well put together and informative series of videos.

Just found your channel, really enjoyed this Arvia series, you pretty much do what we do on a cruise - except you get up a lot earlier!! We're on Iona in November and Arvia for a similar Med cruise in Sept 25. Thanks for sharing.

How long did you have in Barcelona? What time did the ship arrive and depart? Going next summer and trying to plan ahead. Ty
Hello, thank you for the comment… Looking back, if we remember correctly we got the go ahead to disembark around 0800 and the onboard time was around 1700/1730hrs. This left plenty of time to explore. The timings were changed and different from the itinerary, so trying to remember and look at timings on photos to give you an idea. But bear in mind that, like ours, the times can change. Hope you have a great time in the summer! Dom & Pete :)
We were in Barcelona in October, was about a 30 minute walk over the bridge to the world trade centre and then about an hour walk to the sagrada de familia (sp) up through the Ramblas - did over 30,000 steps that day, Barcelona is huge! Throughly enjoyable day, Barcelona is very vibrant 😊 enjoy!
