- I can't actually believe that a 16 minute Periphery song managed to blow my mind the entire time pretty much. Quite incredible.

Answer: Yes

luv u drew
God I hope you do Satellites soon. Another journey and so satisfying.
satellites was one of the first songs to show me just how emotionally powerful metal can be, it’ll hold a special place in my heart for years to come
@@TheNamesFathom absolutely fucking true
YES. One of Spencer's best vocal performances as well IMO
Satellites and Wax Wings have such powerful vocal deliveries from Spencer.
@@iDustballCouldn’t be more agree!!!
Best song ever written
Truly a masterpiece of a song. And yes, they do play it live and they fucking nail it. Last time I saw them on tour they opened with Reptile. The BALLS to open with a song like that. Amazing.
When I saw them last year they opened with Reptile and it was AMAZING
Honestly Reptile is a pretty solid opener in my head at least, cool opening, and it's like 3 songs and an interlude in one. Imagine it was racecar hahaha that track is so sick but it's so uniform that would be just too much
Not only was this the first song on the album, but it was what they opened with when I saw them live. Absolutely wild.
this is the song that literally made me pick up the guitar again after almost quitting. Before this song I never knew you can write like this on guitar and it absolutely changed me haha
Glad you're reacting to this album... it's simply amazing! 🔥
Dude absolutely my fav song! Love that you did this
The heaviest coheed and cambria could ever be is such an accurate description and one I’d never thought of. Spot on.
One of the most impressive musical achievements of my lifetime.
Australia getting a treat this year at Monolith Festival: C&C, Periphery, Leprous, Intervals, Novelists, Silver Fang
Reptile absolutely is my favorite track from them. So many rises into style change ups, track is a banger every time I listen to it.
It takes quite a bit of skill to make a 16 minute song interesting and captivating throughout its runtime.
They can, and did. That's my favorite of their albums
Fun fact: The spoke word part starting @8:14 is done by the lead vocalist of SkiTh, Mikee Goodman
Do DRACUL GRAS next! 12 minutes of Periphery bliss.
This was the first song I heard by them. At first I was like "it's good but it's not something I'd put on a playlist".
2 years later it's one of my highest streamed songs and I went to see them live.
It’s probably been mentioned already but the band has 3 guitarist, each with (to my ears) a very unique style when it comes to solos. One of them Jake Bowen happens to be John Petrucci of Dream Theaters nephew. Pretty cool
Dude they play the shit out of this song live and kill it. They are some wild boys.
I hope to experience this one day. I saw them live once back during Juggernaut and caught Matt's drumstick. I cherish it.
This was absolutely captivating. I felt like I was in a state of trance, took me a few minutes to come out of it. EPIC! Thank you for the perfectly tuned in reaction too 🤘🏻
Their whole discography is amazing so it’s hard to choose but Wildfire from their latest album is an absolute banger…at least in my books.🤘🏻🤙🏻
my favorite song of all time
i've seen it live back in 2019, amazing opening
They did a live version on Meinl's channel and it focus quite a bit on the drummer throughout, definitely watch it the next time you want to revisit this song. Matt is a phenomenal player.
Aw yes this is a beautiful one
Racecar is another masterpiece by Periphery
P5 is good, but having this song alone makes P4 one of the best albums. it blew me away & still does every listen
Oh they do it incredibly live and they play it live often-ish too
It took you this long to find this ? Yes they 100% did. Longer songs are almost always phenomenal.
absolutely amazing song! Love this so damn much, great reaction!!
Periphery is an incredible band and their impact on modern metal is undeniable. This song blew my mind when it came out and I’m grateful that you reacted to it today and brought it back to the forefront of my mind. I’ll be jamming P4 all day at work!! Cheers Steve!
One of their best songs for sure
Absolute Masterpiece
Satellites next please please please
Take this 200 likes! come onnn!!
A fuckin masterpiece
7:32 HOAAAA
Made me laugh so hard
Fascinating band!
ah, yes the OG "I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING"
this is masterful, caption reads true to the T
13:15 I had the same orgasm when I first heard it
Please I would like you to react to the final song of the same album called "Satelites"You will be able to admire how incredible Spencer's voice is, it is something from another world
Its fking brilliant
The first time I heard this I was in the car going for the full album listen and I was close to my destination and I drove right by and let that wait. Confused my brain in a good way. You really have to check out Wax Wings. I think it's up your alley. I promise you'll enjoy it or I owe you a dollar.
Thank you for reminding me that this masterpiece exists, holy shit.
I feel Tesseract vibe😌 But here the contrast between core and ambient parts, extreme and clean vocals is definitely higher and more interesting. Although I'm not a fan of such clean vocals. And I didn’t really listen to them, but they seemed to play something heavier and more monotonous, and as I understand it, they have a new vocalist and they are adapting to him.
upd. Sorry, I confused them with another band🙃
Can't wait to see wild fire 🔥
GGCFAD is the best guitar tuning ever invented ❤
Reaction Burry Tomorrow- Villain Arc. It's one of the best of the year
Steve... ya gotta get a baritone PRS or the SVN lol!!!
The whole HAIL STAN album is amazing. This is literally the opener to the album haha
That’s mental
right? RIGHT???
Finally bro😭 no tho it’s so damn good
If you don't know, you know
A little late to this….
Jk, I love this song to death
Bruh if you’re going for long ones…maybe it’s time to Swim To The Moon 😅
