Thanks for your review, based on your past reviews I just took delivery of the 25' Rebel with the Ram Boxes and I am very pleased with the package. Thanks Ben
Thank you for posting this. I’m still on the fence about out reliability and “6cyl” in the truck, but that “sports car” feel is keeping me intrigued on the limited models.
I would say niether. And the driving portion of the reviews needs more effort. Ben went around the block and barely went over 35, but can say its rips. Come on now.
Ben, love your vlog. I am a subscriber so I check it everyday. The Ram Hurricane engine in either power form is fantastic. The extra pop in the HO Limited is very nice to have. But Ben, while you gave the load limits of the beds of the trucks, you omitted the towing limits. This very impotant to some people, like me, who tow a 5th wheel RV. I think you may have towed a travel trailer yourself, at some time in the past? Do think you could provide that bit of info in your tests? Thanks Ben, for the great job you do.
Nope, when they put steel cylinder liners in instead of that metal arc spray being used lately. These are one tyme use blocks. The non H.O. is not using forged internals which with any forced induction should be mandatory
Why would you want that engine in any trim tbh? Alot of power that you cannot use in a truck to pull more weight, and it requires premium. So unless you just want a muscle truck in terms of crazy acceleration n high speed fun, its not really a good engine for truck towing duty
Has the Indigo and Frost nterior been relegated to only the Tungsten models? My Dad's Limited has it but I haven't seen a 2025 limited with it only the Tungsten models.. also IDK about the 2025 but prior model limiteds have adaptive headlights that turn with the wheel
Unrelated to this vid but I just saw your latest defender vid (your reviews are awesome man keep up the good work) bro you’ve gotten fetched over too many times by off road SUVs just get the new GX Ik you don’t want a GX but it’s on a completely different platform from the lc200 If you really don’t want that but still want a boxy off road suv then you could get a sante fe and mod the fetch outa it or do a Yukon at4 build
They sound on startup like my Grand Caravan with the 3.6l DOHC VVT. I'm still worried about the small displacement with that much power output, there's gotta be a reliability concern with engines stressed like that. I mean it's not like they asked me what I thought about it, but I'd rather they kept the V8 engines and did what they needed to do with auto on off, cylinder deactivation, etc, and not had a reliability question. And that sound. Like I said, my V6 actually burbles with premium fuel, a nice mellow sound, but it doesn't hold a candle to the 6.2l V8 Sierra I was driving last week. So Stellantis, figure it out, bring back the V8.
I need 10 seconds to tell you something Good! I care about you as a person, and tell you that The scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ died for people's sins! Whoever will have their faith in Him, that through Him, they'll be pardoned from the Judgement of their Sins by God, will be pardoned, and will be saved! Now, being a believer, once God does a work in your heart, marking you as His Own, will bring about fruits of repentance! And you will be reborn as a new creature! Walking by the Spirit and not by the flesh (the will of your sinful self) Amen and good day 😊
Hey Ben. Neither of these trucks are in my wheelhouse. Too much brightwork and too oriented to city/highway driving. Beyond the comparison of the engines, it was interesting to see the differences in the IPs. I have to say, I am bored to death of digital instrument panels. They do nothing for me. Every car from Hyundai to Mercedes has them now and there is nothing special about them. I much preferred the panel in the Laramie. Good looking tach/speedo with some ancillary gauges, plus the center digital information screen. That would be a factor for me in choosing between these two.
And when it breaks how long is the wait list to get into the dealer? Stellantis needs to invest in their service departments first before they keep pushing these complex powertrains out. I’m all for it but for the luxury pricing of the vehicle you better get luxury service too
As does any major truck manufacturer. Can you say GM, Ford or Toyota are better for service with their complex drivetrains, luxury pricing and offerings?
Ridiculous!! Both payloads suck!! That much money for a truck that can’t do what truck is supposed to be capable of! If your a big guy 200lbs plus a family size of 5 total you’re almost at payload capacity a little over 1200 pounds. That’s why RAM is last place of the three.
We heed these trucks and dont need heavy towing. The other makes overrated anyway. We want the Ram. Not the Minecraft lego trash that gets dented when my cat rubbs up against it

Black paint is so hot in the Summer where I live but those look stunning! Great review.
The shifter being a normal looking nob/dial is crazy😅

Best truck under Heaven.

I wish I could have an option of getting a limited with a SO inline 6. I don't need the power of the HO, nor do I want to put premium fuel in it.

Turbos = engine self annihilation waiting to happen
Good luck going over 100k miles without engine issues.
It is a shame the HO is only available in higher trims
Why would you want that engine in any trim tbh? Alot of power that you cannot use in a truck to pull more weight, and it requires premium. So unless you just want a muscle truck in terms of crazy acceleration n high speed fun, its not really a good engine for truck towing duty
I customized a tradesman with the hurricane get it Saturday
The standard turbo can run on regular fuel, right??

How can you choose both trucks. Both trucks are cool for ram
I don’t know that the early EcoBoost models are necessarily more reliable, they have a lot of their own expensive problems.

I did not notice an exterior difference with either truck
Get glasses
I would just get the standard output and tune it .
True but there’s forged internal and a lot more going on inside the engine in the HO besides more boost
Can't really tune the SO without octane booster. Also you'll have to go to an ultra 0w40 and change the oil early

@@Mdan7 I agree 100%. These luxury trucks are not getting the service the price demands
Mark CDJR has 10-15k of MSRP
Get a haircut son.
Do laramies not have real leather?
Not like the limited

My bighorn has a 1700 lb payload. Depends what trim and features you want. For me indont need the panoramic sunroof and extra crap like that.

Oyyy, the startup sound is disgusting.
U just can’t excited about a full size 6cyl truck…
stiill alot better than the 2.7L 4 pot they put in the silverado at times
Agreed. Yes it's powerful but part of the truck experience is the sound. This just doesn't cut it.
@@bk27117 not going to disagree at all, thats why i bought a RAM before it ditched the hemi
Four hundred and .......sixty nine........
Lol. Nice
Stellantis is a sh:. Show never would buy one.
3.92 axle ratio that’s why it revs so quick
Both have 392
