I must say emily's far reach is far more glamourous than Corvo or Daud's blink ability.
I still get emotional over Alexi. We barely get to know her but the small interactions are so meaningful. Say what you will about this game, but I think it's brilliant.
I read the comic she’s involved in, even sadder
The way the dialogue plays out, it seems like Emily is the canon choice, right? Corvo is FAR more emotive and compassionate than he was in the previous game, not to mention very talkative, and some of his choices of words don't seem to fit him at all, but rather Emily, who has the exact same dialogue (barring some changes in pronouns) in certain sections.
Your comment is six months old, but yes Emily is the canon protag for this game.
Zukfan You need to stop screeching.
I like how every ordinary player (non-speed runners) love to hold the heart
Finally a video game where everyone doesn't die in the end.
Citizens of Dunwall when a stranger comes and takes the throne without any evidence : Understandable, have a nice day.
Did anyone else notice that after Emily saved Aramis Stilton, Megan Foster (possibly Billie Lurk) got her arm and eye back? 02:12:36=no arm, 2:45:52=arm
I suppose the changes you do in the past make all change too in your present, the future.
holy shit that is what i was thinking, like how the hell did she got her right arm back?
Megan didn't lost her arm, it was broken as she was beaten up trying to rescue Anton, remember she couldn't open the eye on the same side?
@@DDragon1226 The present was changed when Stilton was saved from insanity in the past. His mansion in the present also changed.
Delilah wouldn't have been emperess either way that is not how monarchies work. The heir to the throne is the oldest child of the current monarch not the sister
Long live the Empress!!!!
Netflix needs to make a Dishonored series. I would have Scott Adkins as Corvo Attano, and fight choreographer. Gemma Arterton as Empress Jessamine Kaldwin I would have most of the voice talent back as their characters - Billy Lush as the Outsider, etc. With Frank Grillo as Daud and Dafne Keen as older Lady Emily and an unknown to play her as a child. I would have Gareth Evans and Neil Marshall as the Show Runners and the music by Liam Howlett from The Prodigy.
colin morgan as the Outsider is better imo
I think the story would've been better if instead at the start of the game you play as Daud. That would've thrown players through a loop! Just a small sequence to where we basically catch up on Daud and reveal that he moved to Karnaca to settle down. And since he's old hes just doing simple things, maybe out on the town and we maybe hear his inner thoughts in his head play out. And for a gameplay sequence he could maybe get attacked by some muggers and you can choose to kill them or not. Muggers shocked as all hell to see that an old man like Daud has powers. And then as a transition, maybe in Karnaca Daud sees a big picture of Emily as the empress and then we transition to where corvo and emily are at in their lives at Dunwall.
Also from a gameplay, story, and choice perspective I think both emily and corvo should have escaped the tower in the beginning of the game. That way you could choose who to play as for each mission. And also it gives you someone else to talk to on the boat.
Just my two cents. I think if the game did that it would've been a damn masterpiece. Still a great game though :)
Now..... we need Daud back in a DLC
Not to say I hate the way The Outsider is portrayed but I really don't enjoy his voice and how he looks now.
That is literally what you are saying.
Bro I want a (small) game/dlc about the Outsider. Dude's got a past that I got to see
Vincent Latham yes...!!!
Vincent Latham Well basically outsider is a god, He is a son of an Angel And an Demon. He is One god Who Love watch People, whem The Things gotta interesting He gives The Mark tô someone
Vincent Latham Well, sorry ;-; But arkane studios dont wanted to make an good Hisotory, and turned him in an 12 years old gothic kiddo ;-;
Are you an idiot?
Michelle Sure
19:55 Garrus from mass effect anyone?
If Emily ever has a son, she should name him Corvo
Or: Harry Potter.
5:16 Corvo doing the most badass move ever
The purple color is amazing.
RIP Ysolda- I mean Alexi
I am currently playing this game now and I want to know what the difference in gameplay when it comes to lethal to non-lethal?
There is some gameplay too?
Billie Lurk as in the Assassin that betrayed Daud?
Pike 1 Year late, but yeah
4 years late but yeah in brigmore witches
I finished the game a week ago yet I didn't know that you can bring her hands back ! How ?
Render Stilton unconscious in the past in mission 7
13:30 A bit sad that she didn't have a mask like Corvo.
mikkelnpetersen She does have that scarf though. Its elegant, but the only downside being that it obscures half of her face.
3:07:07
I feel like it was ripped from the movie, The DIctator.
What's hilarious about that is that the guards didn't seem to actually believe him for a second.
At around 2:50:00 Meagan got her eye fixed and a new arm can someone explained how that happened?
Turns out in the end that was, Billie Lurk, and Billie Lurk is a Witch, so maybe Witch Powers did that?
Holy shit wtf
Edit: just realized this happens after the mission where we CHANGE TIME...so i guess that explains it.
Yep, she never lost the arm and eye in the timeline where Stilton didn't go crazy and survived.
Cool 👍👍👍✌️
why do you have mana in the start?
Kinda makes sense that emily will do a non lethal run
I mean, I’m dishonored 1 high chaos if you saved Emily she does say “you killed them all didn’t you, that’s alright I was going to have them all executed anyway”
One of the programmers in the DEV team was heavily inspired by Green Lantern superhero AND Harry Potter? Assassin's Creed managed without ``The One Ring´´. 🤔
LUL you alrdy got the game? But how, I tough bethesda wasnt issuing copies till one day before launch o.O
steam preorder....preordering it lets you play the game 1 day earlier.
He mentioned in another video that this is the Xbox One version.
Daxter i is fuck bitches
Couldn't you just burn the bloodflies' nests? You can use their cores for some decent gold.
This is annoying to see haha. I was like just burn em aaargh! lol
how did megan get her arm back?
We're just supposed to accept that's Jessamine's sister? No proof or anything? Wtf?
So how did Billie/Megan grew her arm back? Such bullshit
The timeline changed so that she never lost it to begin with, or the eye.
2:15:10 (just my bookmark for later watch)
5:19. Blink or Bend Time?
definitely too much gameplay
For the plot of this game to happen, Emily's country must not have Primogeniture which is in most monarchies in the world.
Primogeniture just means that the first born child inherits. Agnatic means only men inherit, Agnatic-Cognatic means that woman only inherit if there are no eligible males, and Absolute Cognatic means that woman inherit on equal terms with men.
On the other way around, there is also Enatic, which means that only woman inherit, and Enatic-Cognatic which means that men only inherit if there are no eligible woman.
My guess is that the Empire of the Isles is Absolute Cognatic Primogeniture.
Euhorn Jacob Kaldwin was probably a firstborn son, and his firstborn bastard daughter Delilah would have inherited if he'd legitimised her.
Jaden M. Can we just appreciate that Emily is actually a bastard?
Pretty much. Her mom fucked her bodyguard and she was born as a result. Makes for a sordid story.
I was really hoping 2 would abandon the stupid morality system. The combat in this is so much fun it sucks the game punishes you for trying to play it.
Is Emily the canon protagonist?
(1 Year Later) ... Yeah she is
çözüm olacak yerler kesilmiş oynayanlar izlemesin.
Tf weirs the Sean in da trailor?
Hm... I played Brigmore witches, and that didn't impress me. Delilah wasn't impressive as a villain, much less as a character. And, even in the DLC, it wasn't mentioned she was jessamine's sister. This felt like it was pulled outta the creators' asses. Or, they had no other ideas for the villain, they used one from brigmore witches.. How sad
There's something fishy in this video, if this is the emily version how is this line heard in corvo's voice 11:44?
That was a guard and that guards voice is like that in both playthroughs.
Ventus I'm pretty sure it's corvo
I played through twice and listened and it is the guard. It sounds similar to corvos voice but its not a mess up in the game.
You don’t seem to understand what “all cutscenes mean”
Billy Lurk and Meagan Foster are the same person. Play all 3 games and you might just be smart enough to connect it all.
Way, way too much of this video is gameplay and not dialog or cutscenes.
I can play this game in spanish? thank u
Jesus Acosta yes
Jesus Acosta sii
I notice this beggar has also the "Blink Ability". 34:17, 2:52:47

خرابه😈😈😈😈
You did this game first it seems. I always thought you were a guy. ..though it doesn't really matter. But it does explain a hell of a lot with decisions you make in your games. Or are you one of 'Those' guys that always plays a chick?!
You realize that Emily is the canon choice to play as in this game. Right?
Very bland story, too much exposition with no time to build up tension or mystery. I didn't even care about the crown killer from the start. "So there's this really bloody serial killer who makes Emily look bad, his crimes are super gruesome. No we're not gonna show you any of that, but he's really scary, trust us" Then without even trying you stumble upon the huge reveal that the crown killer is... some rando character you haven't even met in person yet. Umm... okay? It's like they were trying to write a noir mystery when it doesn't fit the gothic aesthetic that was established by the first game. And a lot of Emily's narration is very asinine and cringey. "Suddenly, it feels like everything's changed" she ponders wistfully while perched on her bedroom windowsill. No shit Emily, you just got your throne usurped and everyone wants to kill you, I think you're understating the situation quite a bit. "Everything I knew about the world has been turned on its head" she reflects while sailing to Serkonos. Really now? I'm pretty sure your whole upper society has always been run by a bunch of self-serving, conniving snakes. I don't know how this conspiracy against you is such a big change from the usual considering the track record of your country's history. Is Emily completely oblivious of how her own State operates? It's like she doesn't know a single thing about governing.
