- In this video I totally rebuild the chaincase in my buddy's 2014 arctic cat 1100 turbo! we had it out a few months ago at the grass drags and she had to be towed off the track so this is the first time since that we took a peekaboo at it to see just what the heck went wrong lol. thanks to the catshack for gettin me the parts to fix it and to @UltimaxBelts for the support and the belt for this beast! checkout www.Ultimaxbelts.com for a belt for your ride! I hope ya's enjoy the video...she's a bit of a long one! (that's what she said) 🤣 and we appreciate all the support and subscribers! you can check out our website www.rednecks-dirtyhands.com for some of our merch as well! thanks and cheers 🍻

I really can't believe you don't get more views...your personality is perfect for you tube. Keep it up cranking out these great videos. Chickadeeboo.
You are one hell of a master mechanic , I enjoy watching you tear stuff down and show all the tricks.
thank you! 🍻
Pete love the longer videos. It’s really helpful when you take the time to show the finite details on these jobs . Thank you
Glad you like them! cheers 🍻
It amazes me how much patience you have . Great sense of humor too. 😂👍
haha thanks! 🍻
Pete, great camera angles and commentary. I would definitely say your sled videos are the best on YT for both education and entertainment. Happy New Year fellow Ontarian.
Wow, thanks! I really appreciate that!!! cheers and Happy New years! 🍻
That looked like a big job… you’re a good mechanic Pete ✌🏻 cheers 🍻
Great video Pete, this is very helpful. Don't worry about the time, it was worth it. Keep up the great work. RNDH 4 LIFE...
thank you! it's great to hear the positive feedback! cheers 🍻
Well i just cant believe that chain case ...... but i guess i gotta im looking right at it!!!! Wow😮
haha cheers 🍻
Howdy Pete, Not sure if you're self taught with years of experiance but you are a wealth of knowledge to us weekend mechanics. You make things look so easy and lord knows it's never that way - many times down right frustrating. Pretty sure today's engineneers have never turned a wrench on their designs. Have a Great New Year to come and keep the videos coming - Chick-a-dee-Boo..
Great video Pete , a lot of good shop tricks to get thing's done.
Thanks
thank you! cheers 🍻

Holly Frick that's alot of work and fasteners......damn. hope your paided well buddy!!!!!
haha yeah I wasn't even gettin paid for this! I'm a glutton for punishment I guess 🤣🍻
I like that light you have with a magnet on it works well
Another great video! Very informative. This is a huge issue with these sleds. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! cheers 🍻
Whoop there it is brother 🎉🎉🎉 You and your girls have a good and safe new Year 🎊
haha thank you! cheers and Happy New years 🍻
Love the step by step format, Nice One!
Great job Pete. Thanks for the look into the heart of the transmission.
No problem 👍🍻
Just a tip incase he is going through belts on the 1100. I have the same sled and would go through belts every 500-700 miles, so I put a set of Team Clutches on, similar to what the newer cats went to I think in the 16-20 sleds. I can easily get 2000 miles of hard running on a belt now.
good to know! thanks for the tip! cheers 🍻
Remington should consider the jackshaft update kit..removes that junky wobble bearing and stronger shaft as well...and stops the gear from walking and stripping...I did that to my 14 cat...cat sells it as a kit
Timing is just right, it’s going to be helpful when I have problems with my Arctic Cat. Happy New Year. Be safe and enjoy.
Happy new year! 🍻
Great video Pete. It needs a 2015 jack shaft update kit so your not back doing this in the near future. Comes with new bearings motor mounts ect. These early 1100s need this to make the chain cases bullet proof when they are tuned. As well as some hyvo gears and chain from hurricane performance.
thank you! and you are 100 percent right!! 🍻
Very well done again great work.👍🇨🇦💪
Thank you! Cheers!🍻
That was a excellent job
Damn that one was involved! Greatvwork As always see ya next time. Happy new year!
haha thank you! cheers and Happy New years 🍻
Tickety boo. Merry Christmas ⛄🎄 and happy New year Pete and Christina 🍺🍻 pitter patter git at er my friend. Another great publication. Keep them a coming.
haha Tickety Boo! thank you and cheers 🍻
Good job tintin
Great video!!! Those Cat bearings must have cost a fortune.
thank you! 🍻
Wow nice job my friend always entertaining
thank you! 🍻
Another great video Pete, you are a definitely master of your craft. I learn something new whenever I watch your videos. Your commentary is informative and very entertaining. Nice one!🍻👍
Awesome, thank you! 🍻
Cool instructional video even though I'll never own another Artic Cat again lol... Never done this with a jackshaft but plenty of cars and trucks. If you got a race that spins on the shaft you can whack the surface of the shaft with a round punch, when it dents the shaft it displaces the material from the dent up to a mound around it which will take up enough clearance to bite the race and keep it from spinning... Its a sketchy fix but its free and will get ya back to doing burn outs around the neighborhood lol.
Happy Year Pete, hopefully we get some snow before summer is back..
Great job Pete. Love the channel 😊
As always I learn a ton of information on all your videos great video
Awesome, thank you!🍻
Keep up the good work
thank you! 🍻

You definitely know ur stuff bro! Happy new year!
thank you! happy new year 🍻
Wow alot of work doing that chaincase worked on a few myself but that one was a marathon lol.
lol yeah it was a bit of a job but not too bad! 🍻
Wow a lot of details great job
Nice one! Put three “heat cycles” on that XS823, set the belt deflection so that there’s no “track creep” at idle and then you’re ready to “take-it-to-the-Max”
haha you know it buddy! 🔥🍻
Awesome that was a learning experience thank you 💪🏻
I have the exact same sled! Chain, top sprocket and tensioner blew up on the side of the trail just like this. Some upgraded gears and fingers crossed its good to go! Great video as usual!
Hey there beer buddy lol, I’m Neil from Maine I love the content and I try to watch all your videos! Like the longer detailed videos especially the f7 I’m excited to see what your buddy does to your F7 with the go fast mods???? I own a 03 f7 and wanna do the same so can’t wait to see that video!! Be safe take care bro!

Another great job as usual Pete. 🍻☃️👍👍
thank you! 🍻
Great video.
Thanks!🍻
Third option! Love it Pete!
Love the show!! I wish you were around in 1999!! My first driveshaft was a 98 SRX 700 and all the bearings! I financed a sled before I financed my first car and it was scary to pull that thing apart! Cheers 🍻 to you and the family on the New Year!!
Great job Pete! You definitely know your stuff! Seems like quite a job to me, wow..Cheers 🍻🍻
thank you! cheers 🍻
Buy the right snap ring tool. It has small serrated pads that keep the ring ends from slipping. Transmission guys need those for the same type clips.
Awesome job Pete! I got me one of those 2014 zr9000 1100 turbos. No doubt this video will come in handy! Happy holidays!
Excellent video! I have a -13 M1100 Turbo, it has not blown up anything in the chain case yet, but when it does I now know how to fix it!
Happy New Years to you from Sweden!
Makes me laugh every time you call each other Jim.😂
Better than watchin' tv lol 😉🍻
haha that's awesome! cheers 🍻
Pete, Remington owe's you a case of Canadian beer, and Cat shack should ?
haha I agree! 🤣🤪🍻
LET'S GET THIS CHANNEL TO 25K SUBS... LET'S GO!!!
You're the best! haha I love the support buddy! cheers 🍻
Nice one pete !! Merry christmas great vid!
You just keep making awesome videos dude WOOOOO HOOOOOOO
I like the long video's
Nice one! I did a similar job on my 2 stroke Procross and even that was a lot of work. Main thing I did different was pull the whole chain case so I could get better access to the seals and bearings.
Enjoyed the Video , learned a few things about these newer sleds from all Your videos , when I got out of snowmobiles had an 89 Mach 1 and a 90 Plus for my wife , so different from today’s rides 😎👍🍺🇺🇸🇨🇦
Don't matter how u do it Pete ur r always awesome..... and hey well ya mader b4 new years. Nice one!!!! Love u guys.
Nice work 👍
Hey Pete, the longer the video the better.
Love the videos!
I believe the reason it is impossible to drive because of the dangle is because the bump stop shaft and blocks are gone so it is transferring very hard..surprising it doesn't break the suspension with no stop on the slide arm
I hammered in 3 center punch dibits on my SW driveshaft to prevent the bearing from spinning, works "tickity boo"!
nice one.
Pete, I’ll give you a BIG👍UP, great job
Crackin one for you Pete nice tinkerin as always🍺
Nice one! cheers 🍻
Super informative. 🤘👍
Happy holidays everybody.
LMAO Build back better coment made me laugh your humor is Awesome!!!!
🤣🍻
Great video smarter than your original bear waiting for snow northern Wisconsin
Nice job love your videos 👍🏻👊🏻
There is a CZcamsr that does a Wall of with his old.. you should start a Wall of shame. That top Gear looks looks pretty gnarly 😱
You make everything seem so effortless and calm , I would have bashed my knuckles 3 mins and hurled a wrench through side of my garage
Happy new years pray for snow

Pete you should have been a comedian Holy shit! You snap ring joke about build back better was perfect. Don't we know here in the USA
lol 🤣🍻
Pretty sure they make some circlip pliers for those fun cir clips. Looked like you were using snap ring pliers. Keep up the awesome content.
thank you! yeah I was struggling with those little clips lol ill have to get the right pliers 🤣 cheers 🍻
Cheers 🍻 happy new year
Didn’t see any JR talls in that beer fridge of yours lol cheers Pete keep up the great work
Love the content Pete. I don’t know if you guys have any snow where you live but here in Minnesota we don’t have snow. Cheers buddy 🍺
Great vid, hopefully the ponds start freezing up soon
Once again, you did an amazing job. We should go back to Bud Light though. Lol Canadian is not a very good beer lol Bud light is where it is at. Who cares who both promotes it. It’s the quality that matters. Sort of like Yamaha, big, heavy and fat, but they ride beautiful. And you still promote them lol. 😅
Did 4 chain cases in my 14. Loved the sled but in the bed could not deal with the constant chain case issues
Ya know if a feller just opened up the gas cap and applied some good ol mactools matches it would take care of all the damage lol
haha yeah we thought about it! 🤣🍻
