Did Krissy124781 run his mouth the entire race for you also? I just raced that dude and they kept running their mouth the entire race. Then he asked me by GT to respond and he went off saying I was a rammer, this that and the other. I didn't remember making contact with him at all, and offered to watch the replay back together so he could tell me what I supposedly did wrong. He just laughed and kept talking smack and then digressed into racial slurs. I think Krissy deserves a clown emoji on the roster as well.

I do vaguely remember a couple of folk chatting in practice but I don't remember who exactly, Krissy might have been one of them. It wasn't anything toxic though, just seemed to be friendly chat.
If they said anything to me in the race, it went unheard as my headphones let me mix out voice chat. You can report the racist voice chat but I'm not sure how - especially on PC. I also think you have to do it pretty quickly too.

So the first thing you need is an external USB3 drive. You will have to format it as NTFS on a Windows PC before you plug it in to the Xbox. It should then ask if you want to use it for storage of media (don't think it mentions captures at this point).
I use an 128GB SSD from a laptop in a caddy (the caddy lights up when plugged in so I can see if it's actually recording) but I've also used a 128GB thumb drive. As long as it's USB3, I don't think Xbox cares so much about the size for captures.
Next up you need to go into your capture setting on XBox and set the USB3 drive as the destination for your captures. You'll also want to set the resolution and tweak the other settings as you see fit. Note about the length of the recordings - that's only talking about the "Record what just happened" clips. If you record with "start/stop recording" you can do up to 1 hour.
I also recommend you reconfigure the share button on the controller to make it easier. I have mine set as: -
Tap - Start/Stop Recording
Long Press - Record what just happened.
Double Tap - Screenshot
Think that covers it all. I just got into the habit of tapping the share button at the start and end of races - first few times I did forget but you get used to it eventually if you keep using the system.
To get the captures off the drive you need to take it to a PC for uploading/trimming or whatever it is you want to do with them.
@@orangepeel9262 This is very helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to share. I've been interested in posting longer clips and/or entire races but wasn't sure the best approach. I like that you include a roster with your races that is a good idea. Do you post just about every race or only the more exciting ones?
