Citi Private Bank's Liu Says Market Performance Broadening

  • In spite of numerous risks, from election uncertainty to rising geopolitical tension, Global Head of Citi Private Bank Ida Liu continues to see pockets of long-term opportunity. Zeroing in on ultra-high-net-worth clients, Liu also observes a rotation into alternative assets, as investors are willing to pay an "illiquidity premium" to secure higher returns. Liu spoke to Guy Johnson, Anna Edwards and Kriti Gupta on 'Bloomberg Markets Today'.

    The point allocating to hedge funds being what exactly? From a retail - even a high net-worth one - perspective?
    The fees and the underperformance make hedge funds a dubious choice all things considered.
