I’m in my 30s now and I first heard the boys back in 2015. I grew up on the Navajo Reservation and the drug and alcohol addiction is crazy there especially growing up there my whole life. The suicide rate has always been high as well. I lost most of my childhood friends in Jr High and after HS to all 3 of those. Once I heard these guys I was mind blown and it made me forever grateful to have made it out of that toxic environment. I now have 2 boys and my oldest loves the boys as well. But man, when I hear them I can just see me and boys just vibing out and playing ball all day at the community center which was all you can basically do in a small reservation town of 5,000 people. It was either sports or getting into something bad. Forever grateful my homies always gave me that lecture of me being something when I got older and now I reside in Phoenix as a controls technician. But really the $B give me nostalgic vibes. When Ruby said “all my homies that done died, they all watch me from the sky” in 5 in’ the morning that hit me super hard. Love all your reaction brothers. You should really check out Chains by Alliance incredible band with all the band members from an Arizona reservation and the song deals with addiction and kinda how it feels to lose a loved one it's like death metal kinda but really worth checking out
The Rez is crazy man. Im 20 and my dad passed when i was 16 from drugs. He was a G and i had a crazy childhood growing up and going to different trap houses and people going crazy on substances. I live in NM now with a job. Im also going to the concert in Phoenix on OCT 6th

For song 1 & 2 who made the outros is a producer named Sambo Bachrack. He’s helped clean up a lot of of the scrims beats, he’s producer tag is “ it’s a SMASH” next time you hear a recent suicideboys song
The second song samples their own song “No Matter Which Direction I’m Going In, I Never Chase These Hoes” and the third song samples another one of theirs, “All That Glitters Is Not Gold, But Still Damn Beautiful,” which is one of my personal favorites.

I completely relate to Ruby's verses in that last song. I feel like I'm the only one of my friends who isn't currently married (I'm divorced) and I'm really happy alone. It's kind of weird when I say that to people out loud by seeing their responses. They start to think something is wrong with you and I get it. It's rare to find transparency today in entertainment industry or with anyone else (cough politicians).

I agree. My fiance broke up with me recently before marriage, but I lost my best friend in February that was like a brother to me. Being alone may suck sometimes emotionally but I've been thriving after being kicked while I'm down.

I have had a lot of acquaintances of mine die through drug overdose and car accidents over the years but I only have like one friend who I consider my best friend and we don't talk that much since he got married and has a family to take care of. You will find someone better for you than that fianc'e in time. I still want to find someone again but just not one who is a narcissist and I will gladly be patient and enjoy the freedom in the meantime. Wish you the best for your future.
Good catch on the Troy Dialogue. I didn’t even get that but it makes sense. I no longer feel the razor no longer guarding my heel is referring to Achilles of course. That’s why all the album art and the imagery for the Razors are Greek statues or Greek art work. Ruby is also part Greek. The Comedy and Tragedy of Ancient Greece. Which is why they also have a song off of I want to die in New Orleans that’s also named comedy and tragedy. I’m a giant history buff so all this imagery the $b go through us very satisfying to figure out what it means. Also makes the boys music great to Realisten to.
The first song was their concert opener in 2023 and that was my first time seeing them.. one of the best moments of my life ngl
