For me personally, the easiest way to get the knee pegs is to use my teeth. Like when I’m putting the peg back in, I’ll use my lower teeth to push up on the peg, and use my upper teeth to pull down on the flappy part (putting my teeth before the peg hole). It helps to pop the knee pegs into its spots while keeping the parts tight to each other so there isn’t any gap leaving you dead space. I haven’t left any teeth marks on the figures’ knee parts any by doing this method. All my customs have only been for my brother and but I found this method being the most effective for me
thanks for clip . . . wanting to use a wwe elite chyna (from triple h 2 pack) body and head swap with a Marvel Legends head . .. the wwe elite ball joint is too small for the larger hole in the marvel legends head . .. any advice would be welcome!!

Figures that are on ball joint hips are easier to remove than those on ratchet/pinecone joints. Figures with pinecone joints should only be broken down to the upper thigh cut as separating the hip piece is very difficult to do without damaging the parts
For some reason it’s not working for me. I get the water bubbling and steaming and all that, I put an elite figure in the water for about 2 minutes, then I try to stick the scalpel in there like you and it just doesn’t open up. What am I doing wrong?

The biggest pain in the ass parts to put back together for me are the knees with those stupid little pegs I can never get it right

I usually just wrap athletic tape around smaller ball joints to get heads to stay on, and sand down pegs if they're too large. Works well for me.
How did you get his feet back on?
EDIT: it took me 4 days to get them back on using a knife to cut a very small slit and hot water.

Is the hand peg removable? I'm curious since I got a Randy orton Alt hand with a black peg, and I want it to be the same color as the figure itself.
