I don't think people think what it's like for drivers who were involved in car accidents with people and the only thing Janine has done is given Ronnie the upper hand to say never. She maybe have a reputation for being quite manipulative herself but Janine does hurt and I get no satisfaction seeing her hurt. The only thing it's done is given a grief stricken angry Ronnie someone to blame.
@@carlaconnor8347 wtf???!!! Boring??!! The characters whole purpose was to be there temporarily to affect Ronnie and Stacey after her death. They wrote her depressingly deliberately so her untimely death is alot more intense n painful for the ppl who knew her which it does brilliantly. (If a happy go lucky person died ppl would miss them but wouldn't really care or feel regret coz they know at least that person was happy while they were alive so they lived to the FULLEST!) Callin her boring is so stupid n unreasonable n just shows u have no idea how a show works. The writers did a brilliant job with the secret Mitchell plot.
Danielle had to be killed off to maintain Ronnie's character otherwise it takes away her icy, cold personality. U can't give a character what they want coz then there's no story. N Pat was a background character, does it really make any difference?
Not forgetting the girl who Pat (Janine‘s stepmother) ram raided into the kerb after drink-driving back in 1992. So I guess you’re right, the Butcher’s do have a knack for butchering young women with their cars.

Danielle, Ronnie and Roxy should NOT have been bumped off. And it was a heinous crime to have them kill Pat.
Danielle was the most boring character ever, it was fine that she was killed off. Very Shakespearean.
