- We reviewed the NCT 127 repackaged album "Regulate" and thought it was a great project. "Chain" was one of our standouts. This song is a message to Tokyo, therefore the members wore words reading "from seoul, to tokyo" it's not really a correlation of where they're from (theres one Japanese member in this unit and nct in general). Nice reaction though! I'm glad you like them. I definitely recommend checking out the dance practice for this song in particular, as you guys mentioned, the formations really are great
also as someone who listens to nct quite a lot there is a clear difference between the Japanese & Korean version. i prefer the japanese version bc idk the flow just sounds better. i might be just saying that because it's the first version that came out so i'm more used to it but yeah in general with all groups, i always end up liking the original versions and not the others. i can only make an exception for Regular Korean & English Version because they both sound amazing!!!!
Same here. Once you get use to hearing a song in one language, it just sounds funny in another. The syllables just don't seem to fit.

Ambitious Ace the "Chain" fanboy 😁 Your love for the song is so endearing! Yeah, Dame Diddy's right...in the video they just have "From Seoul" & then "To Tokyo" on their faces. Probably cause Seoul is where the group is based. Since 127 also has members from China, Japan, Canada, & Chicago but they didn't have that written on them.

This is my favourite NCT song. I recommend you be careful with reacting to Japanese videos like this one. I don't know why but Japan is very strict with copyright laws even if this comes from a Korean group. Some people may say that they've seen reactions to this MV before, I've heard reactors say that they won't react to it on CZcams but that it is on their Patreon. Just a heads up is all.
The dance practice of Chain is worth a look.
They're strict because they don't support pirating.

Johnny - USA (Chicago) - NCT 127
Mark - Canada - NCT 127, NCT U & NCT DREAM (which he just recently graduated from and it was the saddest thing ever :((()
WinWin - China - NCT 127 & he will also debut in the new subunit NCT China
Chenle - China - NCT DREAM & you may ask why he wont be in the new chinese subunit but apparently it has something to do with the Chinese labour laws and how he is underage to be working '2 jobs' if that makes sense? (in international age he just turned 17) so yeah maybe eventually when he hits the chinese adult age he will be allowed to join but idk.
Renjun - China - NCT DREAM & you may ask why he wont be in the new chinese subunit but apparently it has something to do with the Chinese labour laws and how he is underage to be working '2 jobs' if that makes sense? (in international age he just turned 18) so yeah maybe next year since he will be graduating from nct dream he may join nct china but idk.

Yuta - Japan - the only japanese member in the whole of NCT and he is in NCT 127
Ten - Thailand (however he is ethnically Chinese) - NCT U & NCT Vision
& The new members which i'm guessing you haven't heard of yet bc they have yet to debut and they also went through the same system called SM Rookies that you are aware about. These members will be joining the other chinese members in NCT Vision and i'll give as much info as i can on them!
XiaoJun - China - age 19, He can play guitar, piano, drums and ukelele, He can write and compose his own songs.
Yang Yang - age 18- from what i believe, He was born in Taiwan and he spent most of his adolescence in Germany but his ethnicity is Chinese. He has both nationalities tho, German & Chinese. He is fluent in German, English, Chinese and Korean.

Thanks for your comment cause there was stuff I wasn't aware of. While I knew Ten was from Thailand I wasn't aware he was was ethnically Chinese & therefore gonna be in the Chinese subunit as well. Also, I wasn't aware that the Chinese subunit was gonna be called NCT Vision cause I would just hear people say NCT China & then also talk about NCT Vision & thought they were two different things! And although Mark is Canadian & Johnny is American they are both ethnically Korean, right? (just wondering since I wasn't aware of Ten's Chinese heritage and it's very interesting!)

I love Chain! I typically watch the dance practice video over the music video though. Something about the visuals is just not appealing, too many cuts I think. But the choreography is fire so the dance practice is very satisfying.

The writing on their face isn't where they're from. It's supposed to be part of their concept as a group. NCT - stands for Neo Culture Technology and NCT 127 (127 being the longitudinal coordinate of Seoul, S. Korea), their concept is to spread kpop throughout the world, starting with Seoul. Chain was the unit's first Japanese mini album and they wrote on their bodies "From Seoul" and "To Tokyo", relating to their concept.

Sometimes the choreography/performance causes me to fall in love with the song if I didn't already love it. I didn't really enjoy this song first listen but watching it with you guys I find I can really enjoy it for all that it's got! :)

I know allot misspell this, it happens but it’s not 127 it is One Two Seven...it’s the longitude/latitude of where Seoul is in South Korea, also been said by one of the members it can mean 1+2+7=10 which is the number of members in the subunit!

Hey guys just letting you know that Japanese and live stage reactions are red flags to certain companies and you could get a strike fr CZcams , your videos all gone or your channel cancelled. So please be careful when reacting to Japanese singles or live stages or stuff like that cause you guys could lose everything and all content.

@@StreetNoise im not too sure about sm in particular, that's why i said didn't specify which companies I was just giving soke warning for the next time they do a reaction cause I'm not fully knowledgeable of the companies that will strike but just to be on the safe look out ypu know I lost a couple reactors that had everything gone so I'm just going around telling reactors be safe cause their channel could get taken down you especially ones who worked hard on their videos

I also don't think they should react to any MAMA award peformances...with those going on right now I know people are gonna ask for reactions and that got people in trouble last time. (although people are reacting to them now you don't know when that could come back to bite them later on.)
@@StreetNoise yes MAMA is a no no and yes I'm seeing all reactors I'm liking reacting to mma and AAA just a while back and if anyone comes across this comment by chance check out form of therapy he gives like a really good break down on why they are doing it , what content they are not ok with and stuff like that and i think some people comment asking for live stages still don't know or they know and are still asking which is sad cause it could be avoided you know so if possible maybe reactors could do it is have a live on some other media or record it and put it on a site where you can watch it if you desperately need them to see it but if not they can watch it on their own time

"From Seoul" and "To Tokyo" is like... hmm... They want to be famous in the world, you know? And "Tokyo" is because "Chain" is in japanese. The boys with the words are not all koreans. You have Mark(canadian), Johnny(american), Winwin(chinese) and there is just Yuta who is japanese.
