Trail riders bring in about 50 million a year into West Virginia and are keeping that state alive in many places keep going back keep spending money they need you

Awesome video! Been riding the Hatfield & mccoys for 4 years now, nothing compares to being able to ride from town to town

Your review of the HM trails is 100% spot on. I've been down there at least 5 times in the last few years. Going down in two weeks. You have to ride safe and slow down there, especially around corners. Some people fail o realize it is a 2 way trail system. Riding on a dirt bike makes it even more interesting.

I remember riding on these trails with my dad as a kid, specifically the Ivy Branch section.
That was back before it was owned by the trail company. Lot of good memories.

My family was thinking about going up, it states that you can operate a machine if you meet the manufactures age requirement. Does that apply to riding the roads into town too, or do you have to be a licensed driver?

How strict are they about wearing helmets while operation a UTV?

Do you need a license plate or anything to ride your ATVs, dirtbikes, and SXS into towns and public roads?

No plates, signal lights, or anything extra. Just make sure to obey the speed limits, and wear your helmets. Other than that, our towns are VERY SXS friendly. Oh…don’t forget to use hand signals when turning off the road, and also allow local vehicle traffic to go around you(if necessary).

Just got back from this exact area. I have to say for all the hype I really like Michigan better. Slowly going up and down hills all day got old.

Where's the best area to ride in Michigan? I was in the UP with my Mercedes S class on some of the snowmobile trails. I'd have been bored to tears with a SxS or dual sport.

@@jckrieger yeah there’s some railroad bed stuff that will definitely bore you to tears.

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed the changing scenery of the mountains and variety of trails. Definitely something we don’t have in Michigan

@@jckriegerI would say St Helen, Kalkaska, Drummond Island, Munising, and the Keweanaw are some popular riding spots
