In this After Effects tutorial, I’ll show you how to create these beautiful light rays. And guess what, we don’t use any light effects or plug-ins!
The only effect we use… Is CC Radial Fast Blur. And a few basic expressions and expression controls.

But we can not change position of that lights in the composition comp. For example, i wanna it located in top left corner, but it will be disapear the light rays😢

There is a way to do this: Link the shape layers to the control layer. And link the center properties of the CC Radial Fast Blur effects to the position property of the control layer. Then you can move the light point anywhere.

Yes, you can loop the wiggle expression. Find the expression in my free expressions sheet.

It’s actually a nice tutorial but rays are moving in a chaotic way around the center, they move together only first 2 sec.

The way the rays move depends on your settings.
